@The_Work_Area I have no problem with the call. Goes back to what dirt racing was before the slide job/rough driving crowd took over and they made the stupid tire stop rule. JD spins to avoid hitting a car that had already caused the caution. Caution out the field freezes.

Below is the blend rule straight out of the Flo Racing rule book. I’m not going to argue if the wheels stopped turning or not, the blend rule is where you “blend” back into the field when you are straightened back out. He was still backwards at the time of the caution which happens a lot of times. You assume your position where you are at when you get turned back around and moving in the direction of traffic. He did not “rejoin” until he was going in the correct direction. I think that’s pretty clear. They opened can of worms here because now they have to start blending everyone where they are at when the caution is flown and not where they actually blend back into line when they get back up to pace of the field. In the event of an inadvertent caution caused when a driver appears to slow or spin and is able to keep going without stopping, the driver would be blended into the field where they rejoined at the time of the caution flag.
