Thoughts from Masters: -The Masters is a special event to be at. The vibe/energy/atmosphere is unlike any other place I’ve been to. Everyone is excited to be there, patrons are on their best behavior and it’s truly a privilege to compete there. I certainly didn’t play as well as I would have hoped but more motivation to come back and experience a masters Sunday in contention. -The course really does feel like it fits Rory so well. His high bombs off the tee and overall game lets him find much easier birdies and eagles than most of the field. He has a comfort now around this place that guys like Tiger, Jack, and Phil had. He might have 4 or 5 by the end of his career. - I just made too many simple mistakes during the week. I didn’t make any doubles but some of the “simpler” shots especially with my wedges weren’t crisp enough. Next time. -They do let guys that MC stay and practice. The club asks we hit on the right side and there were plenty golfers practicing even Jose Maria. Some dudes just love the grind and practice. -Thank you to all my followers for the support! I also hit 500k followers during the week… I think many are bots but 500k is 500k 🤷🏻‍♂️. @KVanValkenburg @chambleebrandel Idk why for pro golfers it’s kind of looked down upon having lots of coaches. A QB has HC, OC, QB coach, personal QB coach, trainer, physio, mental coach and more. Same for NBA. Yet golfers have more than one coach and it’s not as pure(?) or whatever it might be.

.@chambleebrandel made this point on Saturday night, and I want to re-emphasize it after the fact. It was cool to see Rory fix his swing by himself on the range after a bad day. No coach, no Trackman, no training aids. Just the confidence that he knew his swing.

@davywavys @vfl1998 @Mike_kim714 Honorary member and I believe they have to be accompanied by a full member. Even Tiger isn’t a full member. Although Rory won’t have any issues getting a member to host him anytime he wants. But players who get the invite have access to practice weeks before the tournament.
