What to expect from D.C. presentation takeaways: 1. Additional $15 billion “very likely”. probability similar payment rates to the FBA 2. Seems very likely there will be a fix to eliminate the regulatory burden preventing year around e15 offering. No talk of making it mandatory 3. Larger discussions taking place on the future of farm policy going forward.

@ChetEdinger @JLinvilleFert Nachtigal is right. US needs to build production plants state side and then set things up so they stay competitive on the world market. We have the nat gas here. This current administration seems to be making it easier to build facilities state side….

Long term thought: If Venezuela can stabilize & be friendly with the US it might be a good place to build a Nitrogen fertilizer plant. What do you think @JLinvilleFert?

Honest question, why would farmers continue to grow soybeans in the future? We love growing corn, it’s at less risk to a trade war, and for the second year in a row corn has been favored on the payment front. I’ll ask it again, why plant soybeans?

The Rosario Grains Exchange raised its 2025/26 Argentine wheat production estimate yesterday from 24.5 to 27.7 MMT, well above the previous record crop of 23 MMT in 2021/22 and above the USDA’s 24.0 MMT estimate.
