Is Dr David Bull ok? It’s seriously bizarre that a senior longstanding politician and former tv presenter has just been wiped off the face of the earth and Nigel Farage or Reform has said nothing at all about it. If he’s ill or has personal issues then we should have been told. If not, then this is looking suspiciously like Nigel taking cancel culture to a whole new level. What the hell has happened to Dr David Bull?

After Matt Goodwin’s absolute car crash of a candidature in Gorton & Denton, Reform went safe and picked a local plumber who they thought would go down well against Andy Burnham. Vile and highly offensive social media posts means Reform is now shielding the candidate from the media. I’m hearing from sources within Reform that they were surprised by the Survation poll that put them only three points behind Labour. Not only does their own canvassing put them further behind, but it also puts Restore on higher than 7%.

🗳️ After 5-6 hours of canvassing in Makerfield, here’s my takeaway: Reform: ✅ Dozens and dozens of positive responses on the doors ✅ Posters and signs up on almost every street Labour: ❌ One sign spotted all day ❌ Only two positive responses on the doors No mention of the Tories, Lib Dems, Greens or Restore at all. Also saw plenty of Restore leaflets dumped in bins or thrown on the floor. There is no love for Andy Burnham in Makerfield.

@dave43law Dr Bull is my constituency. The current MP may have to resign shortly and Dr Bull is concentrating on a potential local campaign to become our MP. Remaining low key until the current MP's situation is clearer. HTH.
