@RadmanNZ I agree. Graphics are awful and the frame rate is woeful in the cut scenes but the game plays MUCH better than RL26

If you have a Switch I recommend trying Rugby League Raw. It’s based off the Rugby Challenge gameplay but it’s actually converted really well and I’m having fun with it. Graphically it’s not great but it plays pretty smooth and is very sharp as far as movement goes.

Out of sheer curiosity, has anyone at all bought, played or seen footage of Rugby League Raw on the Nintendo Switch?

@Iansmith2468 Totally different game then. What I’d give for it to be as entertaining now as it was then. Refs scrutinised far too much these days and still get things wrong. The likes of yourself, Russell Smith, Karl Kirkpatrick, Richard Silverwood etc (Not Klein 😂) were much better referees

Just watch the Widnes v Leeds game from 2002 on Sky Retro. I made a few errors in the game as the ref but all the players just got on with things, no catch, hold up, dance & drag to touch, no dissent, great players playing great RL, quick rucks, not perfect but no one complained.

@Jacko_DS I’ve found this too. I’m pretty sure the game is scripted. Sometimes you just can’t stop a try no matter what you do. Defending in RL26 is horrendous. Especially changing player

@RL26CentralHub The game is scripted to shit. If the AI is losing you can guarantee they’ll put a kick in and it’ll be a knock on (even though it’s a clean pickup) and they score off the next play. Every. Single. Time.

@RossSymons I know you’ve taken some flak about RL26 and although online matches still disconnect, the ones I have played online against others in the UK have been flawless with no hint of lag! Just thought I’d let you know. 👍🏼

@JamieTomlin_ @BigAntStudios @RossSymons I had a glitch during a NRLW game that I scored a try in golden point, but the game didn’t end. Had to kick off, other team went up other end of thr field and scored a field goal. Game then ended but I still won 22-19 😭
