Our office is reviewing reports that Dr. Mehmet Oz targeted the Armenian American community in Southern California recently — making racially charged claims of fraud outside Armenian-owned businesses, including a popular bakery. Given the historic sensitivities involved, we are taking these allegations seriously. Any and all acts of hate have no place in California.

@AndrewGold_ok @SwipeWright I decided to move fast on this because my TG group was number 13 which means there are a least 12 other people at risk of having all of their data stolen. Crypto being the target for passwords and keys. Once they have that they can escape nearly undetected & move on to next scam.

@AndrewGold_ok @SwipeWright Weirdos and yet extremely elaborate. I’m putting together a full story on it now. They spend an entire month building up “credibility” on LinkedIn, complete with blogs & healthy following before announcing jobs that seem legit, all with the intention to malware infect applicants.

So the crypto scam Mefion, after having the fake accounts using my and @AndrewGold_ok's image suspended, have created new accounts using our likeness: @cialone_d and @DQuintenz. Please help report these as well for impersonation! 🙏

@cryptoyoda No I wasn’t. I’m putting together the full story on this and one other scam. I knew after the first LinkedIn interaction that it was a scam and decided to go down the rabbit hole.

@dbequette Hope you weren't affected. I've had people pretending to be VCs approach me with the same scam. They always ask to install a meeting app saying Google Meet is unavailable in their location.
