Open science does not open the science for all. APC are ludicrous for anyone in a LMIC, sometimes up to a yearly salary. Here Brazilian authors had their paper withdrawn because they couldn't pay Wiley's fee.

Muito muito muito triste me deparar com isso. Autores brasileiros, último autor excelente cientista da UFMG, acabaram tendo paper já publicado na Evolutionary Applications removido por não conseguirem pagar o APC da revista, que é atualmente 3740 dólares, quase 20 mil reais.
