Cops murdered a baby by shooting it in the head and then murdered the baby's mother. Then the cops later said the mom was armed, they lied, she was not armed.

It’s been 24 hours since I was injured, and all I want is to hear my mom’s voice. I've been trying all day to reach her; my family is only a few miles away, but the Israeli occupation forces have separated us by building a military base between northern and southern Gaza. They can barely connect to the internet, making it incredibly difficult to communicate with them. I’ve been denied even the chance to hear my mother’s voice—they’ve taken everything from us.

True story: I decide to take a taxi to work this morning (I usually walk). The Uber driver arrives & takes a look at me & says good morning in Arabic. I reply sabah el noor (good morning to you to Arabic). He said I look Lebanese & I said I am. He, his wife & his children arrived from Gaza only last month. He volunteers that he doesn’t speak English well & is struggling to settle down in Canada. His parents are still in Gaza & he’s terrified they will be killed by the Israeli military. I empathise. He asks me where my parents are. I reply they are in Beirut. At this moment he turns around, with tears in his eyes he says, ‘So you know how I feel?’
