$kas alpha Rust devs are the most in-demand devs as per a web3 skills report (can't find source). It has overtaken Solidity and job vacancies are a hiring like mad for Rust devs. Guess who's built on Rust? Solana, Kaspa. M.Sutton the dev genius migrated it from Go>Rust for Kaspa
preslaven@preslaven

There is a huge shortage of web3 developers right now, so if you think auditing isn't exactly your thing, you have a second option that is also very profitable. If you start learning Rust today, within 6 months (at most) with the right moves you should be a well-established web3 dev.

@Tsartoshi @crashmoney_ @BitcoinPierre @wef loves lightning. The Bill Gates, the EU, the George Soros loves lightning and they advocate it strongly because lightning is a 3rd party L2 where the payments can be controlled. Even Satoshi warned against L2s centralization risk. Care to read the whitepaper again?

Just bought my coffee with BTC on Lightning ⚡️ Bitcoin has the fastest and cheapest payment rails in the world. Permissionless, decentralized, and open source utility.

@BitcoinPierre @BitcoinPierre How can it be the cheapest when Kaspa on a PoW is cheaper?⚡uses Kaspa's early research, GHOST. How can ⚡that took of due to Kaspa academics' RnD(GHOST) be touted as the greatest when Kaspa, 5 iterations later w/GhostDAG protocol has solved the trilemma? Sensible?

@BitcoinPierre @nesgane Have you any idea that WEF loves Lightning because of it's inherent control of the payments? The globalists ain't gonna go full decentralized like Bitcoin (which the best case is a store of value ONLY). Satoshi's wp clearly warned against L2s and it's inherent centralization.

@BitcoinPierre @nesgane The lightning you're boasting took off because of Kaspa's earlier research, GHOST protocol. Did u even know that? Take a look at your own stock, which is another dump, lol. Kaspa is an evolution of the blockchain, a BlockDAG. If you can't accept tech evolves, good luck then. LMAO

@BitcoinPierre @nesgane every other coin was a copycat of bitcoin's code hence why Kaspa, who're OG Bitcoin security experts (ask Nick Szabo who Yonatand and Aviv Zohar are) had to optimize the BG problem, proving that the Nakamoto Consensus can scale without sacrificing the trilemma. Get a grip ser.

@nesgane You were saying Litecoin is great and Bitcoin is outdated in 2013, and then Etherium, and then Soluna. Now Kasp. What tomorrow. Always a new scheme from you. No conviction.

@angelinarusse Yes, been here since 2017. Crazy times. Even ripple popped BTC for a short time in that run lol. But hiring in web3 still feels archaic though. Lotta talents untapped especially in web2 transferrable skills. It's being significantly overlooked hence where missing out talents

Tbh I haven't seen a well-structured onboarding process or a really good roadmap for folks interested in getting into crypto. You either learn from professionals already in it and with a lot of trial and error or you come in with the experiences and skills you got from working in web2 Prior experience working in web2 helps a lot and you get on track much faster with it

oh you done it mate, I can right a whole essay on this but the tldr is most crypto talent suck, yeah I said it, most of us are unprofessional, have no real training, haven’t built anything and act entitled when it comes to comp, why you think one of my mission is to bring web 2 talent whose done it to the space and teach us all and up level this industry when it comes to talent
DeanKD@DeanKD_

Crypto hiring is broken There is a huge supply-side problem VC money keeps coming in and new protocols are popping up but they are all fighting for the same people There is a finite supply and huge demand. Salaries are up only mate. I'm seeing $200k+ for social media managers...

I have seeing way better professionals that come from web2, solid base, that learn the fundamentals and thrive, and lots of web3 gurus that are just lame. Every rule has its exceptions, but I truly believe training a good developer without knowledge of the space is way more productive

@Rodairos Its frustrating that the transferrable skills in web2 despite being fintech is not 👍 nuff by web3 however having been around the block a bit, the pace is so so fast. So it's super refreshing to see your horizon in tapping untapped talent. Cheers GBU fam

My Focus for 2025 1️⃣Forge connections between talent and fitting opportunities. Whether it’s the best in crypto or untapped talent from Web2 ready to transition, the focus is on identifying exceptional talent and connecting them with aligned opportunities. This space thrives when exceptional talent meets the right challenges. 2️⃣Unlock the power of peer-to-peer upskilling. There’s so much untapped potential in connecting people to learn from and sharpen each other. You are each other’s best education and resource. It’s the best hack there is. My goal is to be the medium that helps you connect; iron sharpens iron. I’m brainstorming something around this and may dive in once I grow my network and get more familiar with Crypto Twitter. 3️⃣Raise the bar on hiring. We all need to improve: hiring better; balancing speed with quality; retaining talent in ways that foster mutual growth between individuals and companies. True progress happens when companies, hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates all take accountability for building a stronger, more effective hiring ecosystem. I’m not here to pick sides, I’m here to help create real progress in the ever-revolving door of hiring. 4️⃣Immerse myself deeper in crypto technologies and communities. Go beyond just skimming the surface of what’s happening in the space. As a recruiter, I’ve missed so much over the last 3.5 years in crypto hiring, and that doesn’t do justice to the depth and innovation of this industry. No, I don’t want to go full degen, but I’m aiming to find the middle ground. It’s about diving a layer deeper into the technologies while also actively participating in Crypto Twitter and the conversations that matter. Here’s to the constant quest to be the best version of ourselves in 2025! Mamba Mentality 🐍
