Told yesterday of a couple in their 80’s who went to their GP surgery to make an appointment to change her tablets as she has cancer. She was told she couldn’t have an appointment for several weeks. They sat in shock, then a woman who couldn’t speak much English came in to book and was given one the following day. @Askrigg_lad Yes they can claim benefits as an additional wife ( there is no limit to number of wives ) However they get a lot more if they claim as single parents UK law currently recognises polygamous marriages ( if carried out abroad to by non UK residents )
