Quetta: An important meeting of the District Education Group was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar, attended by officials and staff from the Education Department and other relevant institutions. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on the progress of making non-functional schools operational across the district. Matters such as taking action against absent teachers and staff, removal of encroachments from school premises, and improving the overall education system were also discussed. Participants were directed to take immediate and effective measures to ensure the functionality of schools, regular attendance, and provision of basic facilities. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) emphasized that all concerned departments must strengthen coordination and cooperation to improve the education sector and take serious steps to resolve existing issues.

Quetta: An open court (Khuli Kachehri) was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar met with members of the public in his office. On this occasion, he attentively listened to the concerns of the citizens and issued on-the-spot directives for their immediate resolution. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) instructed the relevant branches, officers, and departments to ensure that there is no delay in addressing public complaints and that issues are resolved on a priority basis. He reaffirmed his commitment that the district administration will continue to take all possible measures to resolve public issues, emphasizing that providing relief to the public remains the top priority.

Quetta: Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Meharullah Badini, visited the SOS Village on the first day of Eid, where he shared the joy of the occasion with orphaned children. On this occasion, he met with the children and the administration and inquired about their well-being. The Deputy Commissioner distributed sweets and Eid gifts among the children and spent time with them. He stated that Eid is about sharing happiness, and it is the responsibility of all of us to include underprivileged segments of society in our celebrations. On this occasion, he met with the jail administration and reviewed various sections of the facility. The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the inmates, extended Eid greetings to them, and distributed sweets. Later, he visited the jail’s medical ward, where he inquired about the health of the under-treatment prisoners and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to them. Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Meharullah Badini, Special Magistrate Haseeb Sardar carried out an operation against illegal profiteering. During the crackdown, 12 individuals were arrested and sent to jail, while 6 shops were sealed for violating price regulations.

Quetta: Tree Plantation Drive Continues Under “Clean and Green Quetta Initiative 2026” 🌱 Quetta: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Quetta Meharullah Badini, the tree plantation campaign under the “Clean and Green Quetta Initiative 2026” is continuing across the city with great enthusiasm. In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner visited Dar-ul-Falah Orphanage, where he planted trees as part of the ongoing plantation drive. Representatives of the Rotary Club were also present on the occasion. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner met with the orphan children residing at Dar-ul-Falah, spent time with them, and planted commemorative trees in their names. Later, he also joined the children for Iftar. On this occasion, the Rotary Club presented plants as a gift to support the plantation campaign. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini said that Quetta is a shared home for all of us, and everyone must play their role in restoring and enhancing its beauty. He stated that the Clean and Green Quetta campaign has officially been launched, and more than 1,500 trees have already been planted in different parts of the city. He further informed that under the plantation drive, trees are also being planted in Alamdar Road, Satellite Town, Pashtoonabad, Kasi Road, and other areas. The Rotary Club is cooperating with the district administration in this campaign free of cost. The Deputy Commissioner also mentioned that the district administration has developed a registration form to encourage citizens to participate in the campaign so they can obtain plants and plant them in their homes and neighborhoods. He appealed to philanthropists and citizens to actively participate in the initiative. He added that with the full support and cooperation of the public, the beauty of Quetta will be restored and the city will be transformed into a greener and more vibrant place.

Under the Ramadan Relief Package of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the door-to-door delivery of food rations to deserving families is ongoing. During the operation, 14 people were arrested and sent to jail while 5 shops were sealed. According to the district administration, operations will continue in the future to provide relief to the people and ensure implementation of the government price list.

Quetta: Ration distribution continues under the relief package of the Chief Minister Balochistan. Assistant Commissioner Sariab Musawar Ahmed Achakzai distributed ration among 250 deserving families and widows in Killi Muhammad Shahi. Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, efforts are ongoing to provide maximum relief to deserving people.
