If anyone has the time please say a prayer for my dad who is now on his death bed. Doctors said nothing else they can do for him. So tomorrow, we will bring him home to pass In peace. My heart is broken. 💔 He is a good and is a brave men. Running into fires to save people while people are running out. I can honestly say he was a great husband, father, provider, and helped literally everyone he could, I understand we are all appointed a time to die, but it doesn’t make anything easier he cannot and will not ever be replaced. It’s gonna be a rough road for me for many months.

@brad_polumbo I do not speak Spanish but I grew up in Vineland, NJ which is majority Hispanic (specifically Puerto Ricans) and I couldn't be happier to see such beautiful representation for them on such a big stage. America is a melting pot and our diversity has always been our strength

In thriving American cities like Miami, where I live, it is commonplace. If you feel attacked simply by people speaking in or singing Spanish you are the problem.

@beinlibertarian How about...suspending federal money going to states? Period? Federal money should go to federal operations, those things directly authorized by the Constitution. The states should fund themselves.

Elon is right. But if nobody goes to jail, it will keep happening. The obvious short term solution is to immediately suspend Federal tax money from going to States where this is found. But will that even happen?

I believe you can (4) call for better without going so far as demanding perfection and (5) celebrate progress. What say you?

@dcw601 @godlywomanhood I'm word-limited here, so maybe I'm not clear. I took exception to the idea that I suggested we should "weakly accept sin." Not my words. Prayer is powerful. If your wife sins and isn't immediately repentant, what exactly are you going to do about it? Serenity prayer, Dude.

The first seven chapters of Proverbs warns men about harlots and those who dress like harlots (Pr. 7:10). I warn women about dressing like harlots and for some reason, this makes women furious with me. 🤔

@dcw601 @godlywomanhood Once the sin is committed, failure to accept it is failure to accept the reality. What are you gonna do, spank her? A reasonable husband will point out the wrong, ask for an apology and for change, then forgive.

Those who love each other, in whatever context, should encourage and celebrate growth and improvement, not weakly accept sin. Help with the struggle; never surrender.

@tezzles @TenthAmendment The solution is simple, but very hard: amend the Constitution to (1) require a balanced or surplus budget in peacetime, (2) permit deficits in time of *congressionally declared* war, (3) require repayment of such deficits over thrice the period of the war. @TenthAmendment They didn’t have the taxation that we currently have, nor trillion dollar debt. If Trump is doing this to reduce our debt, in the quickest manner, I don’t really see an issue with it, especially with no real cooperation from the other side. What is the solution to these issues?

The 2nd law ever signed by President Washington was the Tariff Act of 1789. The founders considered this a very important power - a source of revenue - and a tool of regulation. The founders also very carefully delegated this to CONGRESS, not the President. Not one single founder even suggested this was a power of the executive branch. Zero.
