Ok Country... i gotta ask... how on EARTH could you POSSIBLY think that Republicans should be in charge of this country? I remember a day where Republicans used to whine about kids needing to grow a pair when it came to getting 'participation trophies' and now, even when they winz they are still a bunch of losers. Seriously, can they actually go a SINGLE day without claiming someone cheated? Imagine that.. imagine being able to go a single day on Twitter without a Republican whining that someone cheated and they are somehow the victims. And this? To try to blame dems because a Republican douchebag is clearly running as far away from a Republican led report that, according to them should show that he absolutely didn't use venmo to pay for sex with a TEENAGER... the same Republican party that claims to care about the safety of children and wants to fight sex trafficking is now blaming dems because they want to protect someone accused of the very things they claim to be against. My 10 yr old knows how to loee better than Republicans know how to win... and somehow, 49.9% of the country thinks they should be in charge? I guess they all will be happy to receive their participation trophy as they spend the next 4 years whining about being the vicitm. For instance: Safeway Select Costco’s Kirkland Signature Walmart’s Market side Kroger’s So keep this in mind the next time you go to the grocery store. And for all you MAGA out there who have just got your daily dose of FoxNotNews radiated into your brain, and don’t believe Taylor Farms is now the source, I suggest you go down to your local grocery store, buy a dozen bags of that shit and eat up

Border Patrol pulls over a 20-year-old in Slidell, LA for “white lights on the back of your vehicle… your reverse lights are on the whole time.” Then, before writing a single ticket, the agent asks: “What’s your citizenship?” The driver, Alan Laureano, was born in Slidell. His passenger — his 13-year-old stepbrother — was born in Pearl River, Louisiana. Both are U.S. citizens. Didn’t matter. Twice, on camera, the agent tells Laureano he’s going to “check” the kid and “if he’s illegal, I will take him.” He tries to open the 13-year-old’s car door himself. Laureano locks it and rolls the window down instead. The agent then interrogates the child directly — full name, spelling, date of birth, birthplace — while Laureano stands his ground and refuses to hand over his own ID, telling the agent he doesn’t have the right to stop him over a taillight. Immigration attorney Michael Gahagan reviewed the video and called it what it is: “an illegal detention.” Border Patrol isn’t authorized to detain someone over a traffic violation — they need independent reasonable suspicion of an immigration violation, and that has to come first, not get invented after the stop. DHS’s after-the-fact statement claims the stop was based on “reasonable suspicion or probable cause of federal law violations” — but doesn’t say what that violation was. WWL Louisiana asked twice. No answer either time. This is the pattern: pretext stop, pivot to citizenship, threaten a kid with removal before confirming anything. It only looks “routine” until you’re the one being asked to prove you belong in the country you were born in.

@DittiePE Slidell is in the Greater New Orleans area on Lake Pontchartrain (which connects to the Gulf of Mexico, treated as a maritime border). It is well within the 100-air-mile border zone where CBP has expanded authority for immigration-related stops, roving patrols, and checkpoints
