🔎 NEED TO IDENTIFY 🔍 We are asking for the public’s help to identify a man believed to be responsible for an arson involving a home & detached garage in Bridlewood earlier this month. 📍 At approx. 3 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, we were called for reports of a fire involving a detached garage at a residence in the 100 block of Bridlewood Avenue S.W. Upon further investigation, our Arson Unit determined that 2 individuals entered the rear yard of the residence, deliberately set fire to the garage & attempted to set fire to the home before fleeing the area in a waiting vehicle. After exhausting all investigative avenues, investigators are now turning to the public for assistance to identify 1 of the 2 suspects believed to be involved in the incident. 🔎 The suspect is described as approx. 50 years old, about 5’10” tall, with a medium build, short grey hair & a tattoo on the left side of his neck. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey hoodie over a blue T-shirt, dark-coloured pants & white sneakers.
