France's midfield has gotten the ball into the forwards plenty this game. You can't judge them based on their ability to play like Spain. France are imbalanced because they aren't creating chances.

@Tj16410 Definitely nowhere near the quickest. I think that Roy Keane was better at picking passes when a player had to think. Give 4 or 5 passing options and I think Keane makes the better decision.

Spain need #2 by half time. France have plenty of time to still recover this. If they want to substitute Digne, they can use Barcola to hold width, so that Olise has more space to drift into the centre.

@Pearl_AfcFreed @Armzinnho Even when I played at a much lower level (I played wingback quite a bit), I would tell my defensive teammates to focus, even if my team was up the pitch in the final third if they looked daydreamy.

@Pearl_AfcFreed @Armzinnho He's played at PSG (x2), Barca & Roma. Digne can actually whip a ball from the touchline and has a good engine down the flank. I'd always have him on the bench if my left side needs width. There's no way I'd start him in such a game over 90 mins without a captain in his ear.

I haven't been looking at transfer news, but everybody knows that the market never moves when there's a World Cup. Players love their countries and National Camps want to be settled. Players don't move until the World Cup ends.
