I foolishly listened to people telling me the Quote from Roald Dahl's Autobiography wasn't in it. This morning, I looked at my own copy. There is literally a chapter in this Book called "Palestine & Syria" & it's there.

The aesthetic appropriation of arthouse techniques by filmmakers who have no interesting ideas is one of my least favourite things about the age of Netflix movies. The cinema equivalent of adolescent writers peppering their prose with polysyllabic adjectives to sound smart.
