Kane explored the concept further with his own lore and storyline, his backrooms has its own unique mechanics that make it different from other interpretations

I want Backrooms to make all the money in the world next week. Let the box office dollars rain from the sky. Made on an $8 million budget by Kane Parsons, I want this film to succeed. We need new voices. We need something original. If not now- when? I’m rooting for this film.

@Gavin30X @CinemaTweets1 Also as much as I love Obsession, the idea itself is not novel, its a classic Monkey's Paw situation that has been done many times before. The execution of that idea is outstanding and so well done that the stale idea feels fresh and fun.
