Who designed the World Cup Schedule?
First, all the "top in-form teams" are in the same Super 8 group.
Secondly, the venues for India's super 8 games:
- Against SA at Ahmedabad: SA played 3 matches at that ground in the group stage.
- Against WI at Kolkata: WI played 2 matches at that ground in group stage, India played 0.
And pre-seeding meant that all this was already pre-decided, that these teams will continue to play many of their games at same venues.
What kind of "home advantage" in a world cup are we giving ourselves with this kind of scheduling where we let oppositions get used to the conditions lol.
Don't tell me pre-seeding was to allow fans to book tickets in advance, they didn't even release the super 8 tickets earlier on BookmyShow.
