The more obsession is being talked about the more sad that movie makes me. Like I love it and it’s my favorite but it’s just so heartbreaking for my darling Nikki. Her life was seriously stolen from her because one stupid guy couldn’t handle rejection and it’s devastating.

Not only is he immediately the villian, but he barely tries to actually be a decent person cause he got exactly what he wanted. And once he fully grasps the wish, he goes all in and becomes an even more disgusting monster and just gets worse as the film goes on

Bear is not immediately the villain of Obsession, as he simply couldn’t overcome his overwhelming insecurities for female affection. However, there is a certain point (or two) where it’s made abundantly clear to him that this isn’t a game and something is extremely wrong. Yet he does nothing about it and continues to believe that he can make this situation work. That’s when he officially becomes the villain because the situation completely spirals out of control.
