NEWS: Senior CM Mickey Molad (@GameWithTurik) announced today on KI Live that KingsIsle will be banning AI-generated content from their official #Wizard101 and #Pirate101 Discord servers. Molad also expressed that KingsIsle has never seen AI as a replacement for humans.

@4urpled I've always wanted to try current pvp 😭 (i played old tournaments back in the day) But the barrier of entry is so tedious that I just gave up entirely

idc what anyone says, wizard101 lost the plot for me when this ugly symbol appeared on every healing spell 🥀 i hate the no pvp symbol, i wish it wasn't there or you could just toggle it on/off

@DeckofFlora @Bayo_conjurer it also does not help that they constantly change spells for PVP scenarios on a whim, without ever thinking about the consequences on other content (like dispels being no PVP) i don't think PVP rules should impact any sort of PVE content since you need to actively balance PVP

@DeckofFlora @Bayo_conjurer there is def a way to introduce these mechanics properly, and make them actually fit well into PVE. just it feels so half-baked, i think raids are a fairly good example in how buggy they are spellements are a..... whole other issue 😭->

AND I JUST WANNA SAY ☝️ i don't think advanced combat is inherently a bad thing, i think for pvp it is good to add a level of complexity. however it is VERY MUCH contributing to the barrier of entry into what could be enjoyable, long term content

@Gallaer_ yea, it's not just for life spells however i just picked these few as an example, most other spells are kind of stuck with no pvp symbol if you don't wanna use the gambit 😪

@deafjub Apparently there are plans to like change it? But I think that's still in the uh, brainstorming phase. I will say it's probably smart to at least get bottom Path Regen which is allowed in advanced. Bottom Path taweret as well. Pigsie and Rebirth only if you can.

i will always love this game but advanced combat (pvp) bleeding into pve fights absolutely gutted my love for the combat, i was so excited for raids yet raids get ruined every time a new pvp "balance" patch happens
