Manosphere types love to say this and it always makes me laugh because it seems so obvious what is going on I struggle with whether they’re just dumb or refusing to admit the truth because hating women and blaming someone else is easier than being a real champion for change in their own stubborn and angry sex group Too many men do not know how to be good fathers. They abandon or abuse their children and this creates a recurrent cycle of violent, resentful boys who become antisocial drains on society and girls who become women who chase male validation and excuse / enable their own poor treatment (and the abuse of other women and children) going on to mate with violent men and renew the whole cycle for another very bad season no one wants to watch. As confirmation of this, you can really tell when a person grew up with a strong, loving father and a secure childhood where they weren’t living in fear or neglected. You can tell when someone’s brain was not formed within a pit of self-loathing and destined for a life of taking it out on other people. This is also why it’s so huge and refreshing when you see a single solitary example of a man actively behaving as a good father. No one does this for mothers because their presence and fulfillment of basic duties is the norm. This ‘crisis of masculinity’ is actually a crisis of fatherlessness — an issue real feminism has the potential to aid by protecting children (importantly, boys when they are young and developing), addressing inequality, femicide, and male violence, but men refuse to participate and are actively trying to INCREASE their ability to oppress those more vulnerable than them in a million poisonous ways. At the core lies an overwhelming selfishness, a profound laziness, and a very worrisome and widespread apathy. We live in a “me” centered world as men are rewarded for exploitation and callousness and in turn, actively reject responsibility to family, community and the greater good. There is no longer much social punishment (wow that was much more load-bearing than we realized!!) for devoting inordinate amounts of time to feeding hedonistic urges that involve substances, gaming, and porn, so these have become legitimate addictions. Me me me! The modern man is disconnected from the land and his fellow man, he is terrified and angry and sees women as competitors not collaborators. He looks to sex traffickers, alleyway pimps, and caricatures of pseudo-manhood to guide him when he needs to focus on what positives he himself can add to this world. Success lies in hard work, in caring and providing for our loved ones and building good things. This is what a healthy identity is made of. It is not found in ruminations on what has been (allegedly) stolen from us, what we are owed, how we are victims. And anyone who spreads such a worldview is actively profiting off keeping his fellow man angry and unhappy. How can anyone ever trust such villains?! Yet many do. They fall in line and scrape crumbs off the ground and say thank you for them, wow those are yummy crumbs m’lord! Serfmaxxing. There are absolutely good fathers out there doing great work, but not enough of them. This all began generations ago and we are now reaping a very blighted harvest. Only by identifying the real issue can we make progress, and it sure as shit isn’t women trying to get equal pay or safe working environments. Good men are needed now more than ever. Please stand up! Speak out and shame bad actors, do not be so quiet when wickedness has grown so deafeningly loud
