@haze_OSIC You can clearly see the characters that scale with gun doing a lot of gun damage, and overall damage charts support this.
But, for some reason, this game has 80% of its rosters damaging abilities scale with spirit and do spirit damage. It's not balance, its hero design.

the statistics are here, gun is pushed to the side because it cannot compete as well with hp as spirit does

finally with the upcoming matchmaking update, here's my prediction for it, wonder how many things will end up in the game:
- slight rank reset
- a clear indicator of your rank progress, f.e: SR/LP/MMR/PP points to grind for, +15/-15 each loss/win
- soloq can't queue into stacks of 3 and more, only can queue up against duos
- drafts to prevent unfair RNG and make games more balanced and competitive driven (only available from ascendant)
- better punishment system:
1st leave = 1hr ban and -50 points
2nd leave = 1 day ban and -100 points
3rd leave = 1 week ban and -250 points + low priority with 10 wins to get out of it, this is just my example but basically something like it
- accept match button, so you don't end up with afk's at the beginning
- rank icon showcase somewhere near the hero icon (above or below) for the competitive environment and overall better UI
- point gains based on your ingame performance, the better you play, the more points you get and vice versa
I will be doing short deadlock streams and a little bit of variety till the matchmaking update to prepare myself for a crazy grind, no tilt, locked in, full focus and the best performance I could possibly do to reach eternus 6, good luck to everyone who's gonna grind and let's pray that ranked update will be really good
