【結婚します！そして、子宮を摘出しました！】 この度、多分100回目くらいのプロポーズを受けて結婚することになりました。 それともう一つ、先日子宮摘出の手術を受けました。 昨年12月に受けた人生初の人間ドックで子宮に前がん病変(がんになる一歩手前の状態)が見つかり、同時に過去手術歴のある子宮の病気の再発も判明しました。 それぞれの対処をしても今後繰り返すリスクが高いことを踏まえ、『これから先の人生、最も健康でいられる選択』として、子宮全摘出の手術を決断しました。 わたしは成人してから37歳になるまでまともに健康診断を受けたことがありませんでした。あまりにも自分の健康に無頓着だったわたしを見かねた彼が怒って財布を奪い、わたしの行きつけの病院の診察カードを見て人間ドックを強制的に予約した、というのが受診のきっかけです。 そこで見つかった前がん病変と過去の病気の再発。前がん病変は1年半前の子宮の手術時点では見つからなかった、進行の早いものでした。 本当に彼に命を救われたと思っています。 わたしはもともと子どもを望まない人生を選んできました。 だからこそ結婚という形にこだわらず、パートナーとして楽しくいられたら、事実婚でも幸せでいられたらそれでいいと思っていました（以前の結婚も、披露宴はしましたが事実婚という形でした）。 これまでまるで毎日の挨拶のように言われてきた「結婚しよう」の言葉を「うんうん、一緒にいようね」と流していたのはそのためです。 でも、手術が決まったとき。聞き飽きていたはずの彼のプロポーズが少し違っていました。 「2人でずっと長生きしようね。美鈴さんの最期までぼくが見るよ。」 毎日美味しいご飯を作ってくれて、 誰よりもわたしの健康を願ってくれるGreedZz君と、 これから支え合いながら生きていきます。 入籍日は少し先になりますが、先週受けた摘出手術が無事に終わったこのタイミングで合わせて報告させていただきました。 これからも2人をあたたかく見守っていただけたら嬉しいです。
