@deathofdating Apps apparently are basically forcing men to subscribe $30-90 / month to get any play. Free versions aren’t even worth trying. Men are also 2/3 of the dating app scene, and women can set height filters.m and things that remove chances for average men.

Dating apps feed Female Delusion Syndrome (there’s an abundance of men who want me but none are good enough) causing men to feel outsized rejection which feeds Male Delusion Syndrome (there’s a scarcity of women who want me and I resent that) causing both to stay single and stuck

@Hookrack2019 I hear you. That’s why I think that female delusion fuels male delusion and the cycle feeds on itself. Getting off the apps is the best way to avoid this. Dating should happen in real life.

@deathofdating The problem is a lot of the male side of things is not delusion. There is plenty of data that women find 80% of men unattractive. I thank God every day I dated/got married prior to dating apps taking off. I fear for my son and he’s not even 10.

@atwarengineer My point is that what’s delusional for men to think is that a scarcity of women want them. It fuels a sense of rejection that I don’t think matches reality.
