Govt of India must give them bravery awards for simply the “Act of Survival” in India. If they can’t do that then they surely deserve a “Melody” with the same “Love & Affection” from our PM. 😔

The public mandate is always supreme in democracy, but the 2026 WB Assembly Election leaves serious questions from EVMs to counting. I've analysed the entire data for self-introspection, out of which furnishing a few below which is already in the public domain. Data from 186-Sreerampur reveals a strange story: • My personal vote count increased compared to the last election (41%). • Yet, I officially lost the seat by 8685 votes. • 8600 names were deleted in the SIR. • Crucially, the EVM battery percentages at counting did not match the records on the Form 17C. Beyond these anomalies, the data graphs clearly show another game was played: CPIM votes cleanly shifted to the BJP, TILTING THE FINAL SCALES. Regardless of these factors, I personally congratulated the winning candidate from the BJP right after the counting concluded. For me, politics is entirely about ideology, policy and maintaining political courtesy, nothing individual. Moving forward, I firmly believe we need more educated, honest individuals to join electoral politics and take part in real policy-making. At last, my heartfelt thanks to the people of Sreerampur for standing by me. I am sharing these thoughts today simply to put my observations on a proper, transparent public forum. I will continue to be there with the people, hope that's not yet prohibited in democracy.

WHY INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES BELIEVE COCKROACH JANTA PARTY IS A FRONT FOR AN ALLEGED "CURATED DIGITAL INSURGENCY" AIMED AT ROUSING GEN-Z TO HIT THE STREETS. • CJP reportedly amassed over 15 million Instagram followers within days this brought agencies to look closer. • Agencies noticed multiple social media groups officially changing their names to “Cockroach Janta Party” on May 21, 2026. • One such group’s history allegedly shows it earlier operated as “Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat” from September 2022 before rebranding as CJP. • Records reportedly indicate the same page was originally created in February 2021 and underwent multiple identity changes over the years. • Investigators believe the movement evolved from an apparent regional political fan ecosystem into a broader anti-establishment meme network. • Security agencies fear the phenomenon represents an unstructured, youth-driven digital mobilisation vulnerable to foreign manipulation. • Officials reportedly worry hostile actors could exploit the movement to spread divisive narratives and trigger unrest. • Agencies are particularly concerned about the movement’s appeal among Gen Z audiences frustrated over unemployment, inflation and lack of opportunities. • Intelligence inputs allegedly point to a significant chunk of engagement and followers originating from outside India, including Pakistan-based accounts. • Authorities fear what began as satire and meme culture could spill into offline protests, campus agitations and coordinated street mobilisation. • Agencies view viral anti-system meme ecosystems as potential threats to institutional trust and public stability if left unchecked.

This is Piyush Kanodia, BJP's candidate from Rajarhat New Town assembly. When votes were counted on 4th May in Bengal, he trailed by 316 votes on his seat. This means he lost, right? No. According to a scroll report, 'additional' round of counting happened on 5th May, and Piyush won. The interesting part is that these votes were counted on booth no. 164, which is heavily Muslim dominated. Out of the 656 votes cast on this booth, BJP received 636. Read that carefully- BJP got 97% votes on a Muslim dominated booth to win the Rajarhat New Town seat. Election Commission is yet to answer any questions regarding this. Long live Indian democracy.

Yes, as a journalist I look forward to the Prime Minister's press conference. But I have a different opinion about the controversy over the Norwegian journalist’s question. That was not journalism — it was trolling, using journalistic access. The Prime Minister was right to ignore it gracefully. On that note, I’ve never had the chance to interview the Prime Minister. But if I ever do, I will definitely ask every important and difficult question that needs to be asked. Mamata Banerjee has never given me an interview either. Maybe she realized I’m not the kind of “elite” journalist who asks about her favourite recipes, her book of poems, avoids counter-questions, and keeps nodding with a big smile. I did get the opportunity to interview Home Minister Amit Shah in 2021 while travelling with him in his helicopter. In that short time, I asked every relevant question I could think of, and he answered all of them. I interviewed Abhishek Banerjee in 2022 — probably his most controversial interviews till now. I asked every tough and uncomfortable question, including counter-questions, and he answered each one. Asking tough questions is a journalist’s duty. But using press access just to create unnecessary drama and become a global headline is not journalism. The Prime Minister did the right thing by ignoring it. I’m not among those who glorify insults to my country’s Prime Minister on foreign soil.
