Don't think I've ever met an Australian I didn't like. Super direct. Low threshold for bullshit. Can take a joke. Turns out that the prison island idea is pretty solid.

I owned a corporate meeting planning company, and we had to eliminate Melbourne as an event destination because its safety grade was terrible. I am not trying to upset you, I am just stating facts. Unless things have changed drastically in the past two years, it still remains a dangerous city. Said that, all our blue cities are far worse than any city in Australia.

@DanTomMMA He’s not super far off. Loiseau got paid 9k for this fight and Rich Franklin was paid 32k to defend his middleweight title. Today the average title challenger like Loiseau would make 100-300k (10-30x more) while the champion can make 1 million plus for a defence (30x more)

Oddly enough, here’s Joe Rogan roughly 20 years ago to the day saying that MMA fighters deserved to be paid more (live on a UFC broadcast, no less)
Kyle@bulliedb170

@Home_of_Fight Joe Rogan where were you 20 years ago when your voice would have had some actual weight in the conversation?

@deadlinedom @kanavtwt The internets obsession with Australia’s ‘deadly’ wildlife is weird. North America has bears ffs.

@kanavtwt they omit to mention that they have basically 900000 insect/things that wanna kill you per person living there. Kangaroos looking to square up, swimming knives, 50c heat and about 40 quadrillion spiders per square foot. PASS, hard pass.

STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS is back, Australia's weirdest RW news show covering all the stupid and cortisol spiking nonsense of the week. Put the kids to bed, make love to your wife, fill up the car before the fuel runs out and STRAP IN: x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

I’ll do Saturday if enough people wanna do it. People ask me all the time so why not. Be good to get a group together. Central I don’t really have time for sadly. Will take an hour there and back and it’s fight day. Meet at the fighter hotel. Time to follow if as I say there’s enough interest.
SS7 MMA@SS7_MMA

@bisping Yes - let’s do it. Saturday would be best for most of us on a usual Mon-Fri work schedule. Any chance of doing closer to central so that as many as possible can attend? Greenwich is a bit long for those out in West London, and trust me - you got a lot of fans here!

MMA grappling needs an answer to rear body locks you hardly have room to hand fight because you're being held against the fence you either need to turn in for under hooks, head post on the fence like volk did against islam, or scramble from quad pod standing upright is death

@tyliebets @jewishbettormma @LucrativeJames Has he been tracking stale lines? You made the claim back it up with evidence or shut it. How do you know he’s down 60 units? Is it because he tracked it? If the evidence is good enough for the losses it’s also good enough for the wins.

Are you kidding me dude? BetMMA is extremely easy to cheat when you can track stale lines. It's not hard to see. I'm honestly just shocked that you could continue to support someone who charges people to lose over half their bankrolls in less than 3 months Dude is the absolute definition of a fraud

@JacintaAllanMP What fucking slop Jacinta, destroying Melbourne and suburbs. Look at St Kilda Rd, once a glorious avenue, no more with those grotesques box buildings. Melbourne is a shambles. My grandmother would be furious. But you don’t care.

@debaser337 The Maynard and Cripps incidents are so much worse than this one imo, both of them left the ground and made impact with the head. Did they get off via the Grand Final and Brownlow rule? Hmm.

@BenCaluzzi I have no idea mate but it’s clear the head is sacrosanct. The AFL is clear and fairly consistent hit and you will do weeks intentional or not.

@debaser337 So what are you suggesting Pendlebury should do in this situation to avoid suspension, just put his arms up and take the impact to his ribs? It looks worse in slow motion, in real time it happens so fast and Pendles’ reaction to unavoidable contact is basic human instinct.

@BenCaluzzi You are either serious about protecting the head or you aren’t. Intention matters nought IMO. He’ll get off because of exemplary record not because the act doesn’t deserve a week.
