.@TLRailUK I’ve just been treated appallingly by the lady at booth 1 at St Albans City. Not sure why you’d employ people who are rude, accusatory and unhelpful. Grumpy, rolling her eyes then accusing me of telling lies when I politely said there was no need to do that. Bad show.

Last ever curtain call of this incarnation of @E_N_O before the orchestra etc is disbanded. Coincidentally my 2 boys’ (8 & 11) first ever opera (Magic Flute). They were enthralled and thrilled. Those who have let this happen to ENO should be ashamed.

WhAT a NiGHt! Months of preparation, years of studying to make a dream debut! I rehearsed as a cover, no time with the orchestra and an hour and a half onstage to perform one of the hardest portrayals of Violetta. I won't forget it! Thanks to everyone in the cast and crew @E_N_O

There is one line in here that must NOT be lost. @E_N_O is among the best in the world. The orchestra and chorus are TRULY world leading as are the rest of the company. This will rip the sole out of our operatic landscape in the UK. We must ALL act.

@jjohnstonmezzo @HENLEYDARREN Intrigued by this commitment to opera at all scales. Wherever @E_N_O ends up, will it have a fulltime chorus & orchestra? If not, then the commitment seems pretty thin. Not to forget the reduction in touring that @WNOtweet and @glyndebourne are forced into by cuts to their grants

This is offensive. You have destroyed music education, decimated the performing arts throughout the country and made it 1000 x more difficult to work in the EU thanks to Brexit.
