Wow! Christmas-tastic🎄Y6 pupils along with their EYFS buddies ran a combined total of 245 laps of the school’s running track🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️This meant they ran 98,000 metres or close to 61 miles…phew, what an effort by all😊

Welcome to the class of 25-26! 🐼 Year 2 enjoyed a lovely first day back at school! We made classroom promises, decorated birthday cards to give out during the year and created stick characters of ourselves to hang on our classroom olive tree!

As part of our topic on Real Superheroes, we have been visited by Mrs Butterworth, a local dairy farmer. She told us all about her work on the farm and how her cows produce hundreds of litres of milk a day for the supermarkets we shop in. We were fascinated by the job she does!🥛

Year 2 enjoyed learning about lots of different jobs that people can do as part of our ‘PSHE Day’ today. They all thought carefully about the different qualities you may have to do different jobs and about the job that they might like when they’re older!
