A wonderful afternoon, showing @Paul_Edmondson around Benjamin Britten’s childhood haunts in Lowestoft; starting at the proposed site of our @BrittenAsABoy statue, opposite Britten’s birthplace (now for sale) and ending at the church organ his mother and the young Britten played.

@ClassicFM Dvorak Symphony 8 - I was about 12/13, As a cellist I’d just moved up from the intermediate string orchestra to the North Suffolk Youth Orchestra. Couldn’t play it but loved it .
