Reps should be allowed to scrub in on certain cases, once properly trained. Cases could be shorter and could be much smoother. That would sure beat that laser pointer 🤔🤷♂️

This is a TERRIBLE IDEA. A good surgical rep is an invaluable resource. With the high turnover among OR staff, my trusty rep is often the only other person in the room who knows the steps of the surgery and what equipment I need to perform an efficient and SAFE surgery.
