Last week, I had the honour of representing @EpsomRacecourse in Tokyo for the 43rd running of the G3 Epsom Cup alongside 🇬🇧 Amb @JuliaLongbottom. The race was won in a tight finish by the Sunday Racing owned Trovato ridden by @christo68914587. A super day in the sunshine.

Landed safely in London Town. Thank you Lord for journey mercies. Big shoutout to Captain Warren Steele ,who honestly sounded like a Zimbo Caucasian 😜 and the crew of Flight WB710. The flight from Kigali was quite bumpy, plenty of turbulence and chazunguza, but the Captain and crew handled it like true pros. Otherwise, the flight was fairly comfortable. Just like the Harare-to-Kigali leg, the plane was virtually empty, so I had a whole row of seats to myself. Managed to get some sleep too… until I was woken up by some industrial-level snoring from a lady across the aisle. Now people say I snore, but surely not like that lady. I swear she contributed to the turbulence. 😄 Breakfast was served about an hour before landing. Yoh… a sad-looking roll masquerading as a “steak roll.” The meat looked like polony that had been left out in the sun to dry. Took one teeny-weeny bite and nearly choked. Thankfully, the coffee came to the rescue. The dinner, however, was the exact same meal served in that US$45 business lounge at #KigaliInternationalAirport , and to be fair, it was actually quite tasty. Anyway, about to make the 80km trip back home to BasVegas. Thanks in advance to my neighbour Mick , a used car salesman who can be miserable AF 😄🤣 Have a great day, guys. I need a proper snooze.
