Uniting the clans is impossible. The ideological differences between traditional Catholics are REAL. The FSSP and SSPX for example have different fundamental principles despite being so similar. Bishop Williamson shortly after his consecration so beautifully laid out this reality… that the Pope ALONE can unite Catholics. If he doesn’t do it, no one else can do it. We pray dearly and ardently for a holy Pope and for the restoration of the faith.
Michael J. Matt@Michael_J_Matt

Unite the Clans – is it just a call for a great big ecumenical group hug? Or is there more to it? Despite decades of bitter intermural squabbling, can we get out of the way long enough to the let the old Faith unite us in battle against those who would crush us all? The Modernist hierarchy of the Church divided us all. Will we stand by and let them conquer us, too?

Marc The Evangelist
SEDEVACANTISTS ARE "THAT HANDFUL" St. Athanasius- “May God console you! ... What saddens you ... is the fact that others have occupied the churches by violence, while during this time you are on the outside. It is a fact that they have the premises — but you have the Apostolic Faith. They can occupy our churches, but they are outside the true Faith. You remain outside the places of worship, but the Faith dwells within you. Let us consider: what is more important, the place or the Faith? The true Faith, obviously. ... Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ.” (Cited from Coll. Selecta SS. Eccl. Patrum, Caillau and Guillou, Vol. 32, pp. 411-412)

Archbishop Lefebvre’s Letter to a Sedevacantist: English: Écône, 19 May 1988 Dear Mr. Laurençon, You have adopted the radical solution in your judgment about the Pope, and so for you there is no longer a Pope. It is a solution that simplifies the problems. As for us, we prefer to leave this judgment to God and to act as if the Pope were Pope, while condemning his words, his writings, and his acts, which are those of a bad shepherd. It is a more difficult solution, but it seems to us more in keeping with reality, and it allows us to make efforts so that Tradition may return to Rome. Our contacts with modernist Rome have no other purpose. We must indeed pray to Our Lady of Fatima so that the Reign of Our Lord may come. Believe that I am praying for you and that I ask God, through Mary, to bless you. + Marcel Lefebvre

"It is the eternal paradox: at a time when there is constant talk of ecumenism with 'separated brethren,' who would never, ever be called 'schismatics,' and for whom a polite formula of 'imperfect communion' has been invented, today's Rome fumes against those among its children who have the audacity to believe and act as their fathers once believed and acted, reviving old sanctions that it had relegated to the dust of museums." paixliturgique.com/aff_lettre.asp…

"Ordained in 2004, Goldade received the majority of his formation under the late Bishop Richard Williamson, who was rector of the US seminary from 1983 until 2003, when he was reassigned to Argentina. A Society priest who spoke with Integrity explained that Goldade is a bridge between the different generations of priests formed before and after Williamson. He also said that not only was Goldade exposed to the ideas of 20th century Irish priest Fr. Denis Fahey (1883-1954) while in seminary but that he is familiarizing the young men who are under his care presently with them as well, as evidenced by a recent seminary newsletter." integritymagazine.org/2026/05/26/ssp…

As for racism, you need to make a distinction between the good and bad kind. “This is the Church's response: this is what the Church considers true, proper, healthy racism [ecco che cosa è per la Chiesa il vero, il proprio, il sano razzismo] worthy of individual men in their great collectivity. All in the same way: all the object of the same maternal affection, all called to the same light of truth, of good, of Christian charity; to be all in their own country, in the particular nationalities of each, in their particular race, the propagators of this idea so great and magnificently maternal, human, even before being Christian.” - Pope Pius XI, 1938

Moral Legitimacy of Slavery Summary: Consequence of original sin, a punishment, but forbidden neither by natural nor divine law. Servitude is instituted by human law (outlined in various legal titles), though derived indirectly from the law of nature. Proofs: St. Peter (1 Pet. , II. 18) - “Servants, be subject to your masters, with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.” St. Paul (1 Tim., c. VI) - “Whosoever are servants under the yoke, let them count their masters worthy of all honor, lest the name and doctrine of the Lord be blasphemed… These things teach and exhort. If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to the sound word of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and to that doctrine which is according to piety, he is proud, knowing nothing;” Pope Pius IX (Holy Office Ruling, 1866) - “Servitude [slavery] itself, considered absolutely, is in no way inconsistent with natural and divine law, and there may be many just titles of servitude which can be seen among the approved theologians and interpreters of the sacred canons… From this it follows that it is not inconsistent with natural and divine law that a slave be sold, bought, exchanged, or given, provided that in his sale, purchase, exchange, or donation, the due conditions are accurately observed, which the same approved authors pursue and explain at large.” Bp. Augustin Verot (A Tract for the Times, 1861) - “I wish to show on the one side, how unjust, iniquitous, unscriptural, and unreasonable is the assertion of Abolitionists, who brand slavery as a moral evil and a crime against God, religion, and society; whereas it is found to have received the sanction of God, of the Church, and of Society at all times, and in all governments. On the other side, I wish to show the conditions under which servitude is legitimate, lawful, approved by all laws, and consistent with practical religion and true holiness of life in masters who fulfil those conditions.” Fr. Walter Hill, S.J. (Ethics, 1891) - “Hence, to be a slave by birth, is not against natural right, when the mother is legitimately a slave; any more than it is against natural right for one to be born poor, of plebian parents, of feeble body or mind, etc., for, as regard's these things which are extrinsic to man's nature, he is born to the rank, circumstances, or condition of his parents. Hence, in what is essential to human nature, all men are born equal; in what is extrinsic and accidental to human beings, men differ, and all are not equal as to such things… It cannot be demonstrated that slavery ought to exist in any nation; for, nature does not prescribe slavery; but it is shown that slavery may be legitimate, under some circumstances; or, that slavery is not simply or absolutely prohibited by the law or nature. Its existence, then, as legitimate, is proximately from human law; and it is in this sense that it was said to be derived indirectly from the law of nature.” Finally, in by no means an exhaustive list, but here are some Catholic saints, popes and historical figures who have owned slaves - • St. Cornelius, Roman Centurion • St. Philemon • Gregory I, accepted a young boy as a slave and gave him as a gift to another bishop • Society of Jesus, the Jesuits, historically owned many African and indigenous slaves

Jesus' Catholic Church has always opposed slavery and racism since 33 A.D. See our New Testament and these documents form the 1400s and 1500s for example: 1435-01-13 Sicut Dudum - Against the Enslaving of Black Natives from the Canary Islands - "These people are to be totally and perpetually free, and are to be let go without the exaction or reception of money. If this is not done when the fifteen days have passed, they incur the sentence of excommunication by the act itself," 1537 Sublimis Deus papalencyclicals.net/paul03/p3subli… "Indians and all other people who may later be discovered by Christians, are by no means to be deprived of their liberty or the possession of their property, even though they be outside the faith of Jesus Christ; and that they may and should, freely and legitimately, enjoy their liberty and the possession of their property; nor should they be in any way enslaved; should the contrary happen, it shall be null and have no effect."

No necesitamos diplomacia.
