Thoughts on @DuluxTrade Ultra Matt? We're using a lot of this at the moment. - Dead matt, no shine at all – really flat finish, great on ceilings and anywhere with awkward or strong lighting. Doesn’t bounce light around so it hides a lot. - No flashing issues – dries evenly without those patchy shiny bits, even when the light hits it from different angles. - Touches in properly – if you have to go back to it, the touch-ups blend in instead of standing out. - Goes on nice and covers well – easy to roll, decent opacity, roughly 16m² per litre so you’re not messing about with extra coats. #Sponsored

Thoughts on Beeline paste? It’s all I use. I’ve tried other brands but always end up going back to Beeline. The Yellow Top is spot on for most papers — just add a splash of water and give it a good whisk. The Red Top is underappreciated too. It’s very thick, so you need to add quite a bit of water. It’s marketed for “medium-grade” wallpapers, but you could probably stick an elephant to the wall with it if you wanted. We use it a lot for non-woven wallpapers. @CIRETUK_EXPERT #sponsored

Fine filling once the first coat of emulsion is on the walls is in my opinion the best way to achieve a high quality finish. Regardless of the colour, it highlights imperfections. Toupret Joint & Skim is my go-to. Remember to wipe the walls clean afterwards.
