@deeg159 @ChongyMind Yeah pretty sure it was that night. Major surprise for me when the 4 of us went into and empty Pride of Paddington, I popped to the toilet, and came out 2 mins later to a pub full of about 100 Cardiff Soul Crew!! Oops!

Cricket the same - bowlers breakdown, used to play all summer & winter the top lads like Courtney Walsh

If Gloucester really wanted to have a game in Birmingham, why Villa Park?
Gloucester v Leicester drawing 43k people was always going to be a huge ask. The fact that fewer than 25k showed up proves it. It makes the sport look so small.
Why not just go to the 30k St Andrew’s?

@BS3Rob The mistake there was being naive to that - if you're appointing Pearson you HAVE to invest in Shakespeare & Walsh. If not you get the jobs he's done away from Leicester which have been very average - exactly what happened. He's no recruiter so went experience & wages ££ not fees

@deeg159 Fair Dave but why did he not afford Pearson the same on players he sold. Watford sack managers consistently at least we know their plan. Lansdown has a pattern now that can be seen from space and it's not consistent.

@BS3Rob He wanted to try MP at CB to replace Webster (change positions like Reid) .... told them to shift Webster early so we could trial in pre season - We sold in August if you recall. The NP debate - I'd always argue his money was in wages - plus his record without his staff is shoddy

@BS3Rob Reid was replaced by Weimann - a skillful player vrs a runner (most effective coming from wide), Webster was replaced in effect by Kalas - different. So that year we won lots of tight games as had to make it about clean sheets. We had a bright & young staff that cared back then

@BS3Rob .... I genuinely believe if he had pushed for recruitment control post Cup SF season (as in got his Head Scout in - day Aggy) we would've gone close - certainly got into playoffs. Remember he lost players & they were replaced by polar opposites so we had to change style yearly

@BS3Rob City haven't been consistent since I started going in 1985 mate .... flip from Young Coach to Old Head etc - we can't do anything about it as fans (I, @PedroMonkfish & others tried - we were close with SOD & LJ but Ashton blocked us off) ... shame as LJ could / can spot a player

Pretty stunned at events at #BristolCity, but history shows once you openly question hierarchy your time is limited. Other factors at play too but Struber was hugely popular with fanbase & in already divisive season, this threatens to widen chasm between stands/board further

That 25/1 will be gone when everyone sees this surely. Won the Irish national last year just like I Am Maximus did on the way to winning his. Also won the Welsh National this year just like One For Arthur did on the way to winning his👀
