CLARIFICATION ON DEMOLITION OF PROPERTY The Lagos State Government is compelled to address the recent allegations made by Mr. Peter Obi regarding the demolition of a property belonging to his brother. We wish to categorically state that the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) or any other arm of the Lagos State Government did not carry out the said demolition. Dr. Olajide Abiodun Babatunde, Special Adviser, eGIS & Urban Development, who supervises LASBCA, has confirmed that the agency was not involved in the demolition. We find it disturbing that Mr. Peter Obi would make such allegations without verifying the facts. The Lagos State Government is committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of all residents. We will not tolerate any acts of lawlessness or violations of extant laws. Any individual or group found involved in such acts will be brought to justice. We urge the public to disregard Mr. Peter Obi's claims and rest assured that the Lagos State Government will continue to work tirelessly to maintain law and order in our great state. We will not be swayed by baseless allegations or attempts to discredit our efforts. Furthermore, we have directed the Permanent Secretary, Office of Urban Development, Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki, FNIA, to request a full investigation by the Lagos State Building Control Agency into this matter. This investigation will help clarify the circumstances surrounding the demolition and ensure that any necessary actions are taken. The Lagos State Government welcomes everyone to live and work in the state, and we assure all residents of our continued commitment to their safety and well-being. Signed Mr. Gbenga Omotoso Honourable Commissioner, Information & Strategy Lagos State Government @jidesanwoolu @drobafemihamzat @gbenga_omo @gboyegaakosile @BSaluHundeyin @Mr_JAGs @Riddwane #AGreaterLagosRising #LASG

Somebody who they cursed daily while he was governor of their state but turned around to declare him the messiah and gave him 95% in 2023 is pointing fingers at Yoruba people even when Tinubu lost 2 of their states, including the state they claimed he hailed from, got only 58.9% in Ogun, 67% in Ondo and 65% in Ekiti. A very divisive fraud who should never be allowed anywhere near the seat of Nigeria's government

Being able to afford a 50kg bag of rice or not is not the issue—it’s never been. Before the APC era of doom, ushered in by Buhari, people did not have to buy a bag of rice (even as it was selling for 8k) to survive because the purchasing power of the lowest earners was strong enough for a day’s pay to feed their small family through the week. Nuance is very important. When rice was N8k, day-labor job (most common) was N1,500/day and Dollar was N142. Today, Bag of rice is N70k, day-Labor is 2k-3k/day, Dollar is N1,500+. N1,500 a day, was enough to feed your small family for a week. As one Congo of rice = N250. You’d have N1,250 left. Today 1 Congo of rice is N2,000+, if you buy it from your day-job wage/pay, the amount you have left wont be enough to fill the amount of cooking gas required to cook it. Politics or political sentiments has to d1e at this very dangerous moment that we are in. Nigerians are suffering. Theres helplessness and hopelessness everywhere. It’s never been this bad. Empathy above political choices. All the time.
BoluTife@B0lutife

There was no time the majority of Nigerian families was able to buy a bag of rice monthly, even when it was 8k per bag.

@Father_Francis1 @Ukpong2Ukpong @Harmless12345 @bobnyaknno1 Omo I will forever be grateful for that bridge. Having to cross it twice a day to go to work was a nightmare. I used to get home after midnight on very bad days. 2024, 2030 and for as long as I have to cross that bridge, I shall be grateful.

It has been established that the second Niger bridge was neither Buhari's idea nor from his budget. The second Niger bridge was a project of Goodluck Jonathan's administration. GEJ's administration procured the funds before leaving. So, what exactly did Buhari do for the East?

@truthful_man_2 @Maxisttheory1 @General_Oluchi Ended up saying rubbish after throwing insults around. What exactly was natural about the flood? Dam is man-made and water released from Lagdo damn caused the flood. Meanwhile, 30 out of 36 states were affected [NEMA] Osim Anambra was almost washed away 'with' flood.

In my area, electricity and the internet are connected so if you lose one, you could lose the other. But it is better to have electricity than stay in the dark and freeze up during winter. Today it rained all morning, got windy, and pulled down some trees. We lost power and the internet and couldn’t work. All my meetings were canceled. The last time it happened, we spent 11 hours without electricity and it was stressful. So we decided to buy a generator and set up the connection but never found the use for it since then until today. For the first time in 2 years, I am running a noisy generator and I seem to be one of the few people with electricity in my street. 😀 Nigeria followed me to be obodo oyibo.

It is only right, fitting, and sportsmanly for both Waziri Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to congratulate President Bola Tinubu for his victory in the #NigerianElections2023. There must be an end to litigation, and the Supreme Court must end it. All talk by some persons that 'Bola Tinubu is not my President' is frivolous and unhelpful. As long as you call yourself a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you do not have 'your' President. Nigeria has a President, and whether you like it or not, he presides over you as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Head of the State, The Peoples Democratic Party must now play their role as Nigeria's most viable opposition party. It is incumbent on them to work on unifying their ranks. Disunity and treachery against President Goodluck Jonathan cost them the 2015 election. Disunity also cost them this election. If they allow it to repeat itself a third time, they are done. To the youths of Nigeria, do not allow anybody, whether candidate, party, or TV station, to set you against the government. The future is yours, as Millennials, not ours, the fifties and sixties generation. Use it well. Organise now for 2027, or agonise when it is 2027.

So Nyesom Wike instructed media houses to put up a headline that Peter Obi’s land in Abuja has been revoked. This was meant to be a dirt on Obi but man was way ahead of them. Man has conquered greed a long time ago. This was Peter Obi speaking during the campaigns that he didn’t ask for any land and has since rejected the land. Obi remains the only politician in Nigeria you can’t find any dirt on. And I’m very happy I support this noble man and I will support him till tomorrow. This is a proud moment to be an OBIDIENT
