Yo sometimes y'all ask me some WEIRD SHIT, man. No, I never tried on the DOOM mask. I cleaned the main mask of my era many times, just general cleanliness the plastic harness thingie needed to get freshened up, I used alchohol and tea tree oil on a cotton pad & q-tip. Sometimes I cleaned the metal, it was some kind of alloy - but DOOM wanted it to be rusty most of the time so I rarely did that. Used some paste I had laying around that i cleaned my silver, brass and copper jewelry with on the regular and I figured it'd make that metal SHINE. Did this once for a fancy Nike release party we went to, not that DOOM put on anything different than the usual RL/Polo head to toe look, with whatever snazzy ball cap, and the Timbs - maybe the North Face coat. But I figured engraved invitation, custom Nikes in his size as a party favor (actually it was MY invite and I was supposed to have them make the shoes in MY size for ME but that's a whole other story LOL) ... an outing worthy of shining up the metal on the mask. No I NEVER picked that thing up and thought, oh let me try this on! LOLOLOLOLOL
