@ShishirShelke1 Nothing remarkably new again, Pixel Fold existed and paved the way first. It doesn't matter even if the ratio isn't exactly the same. Wide Foldables already existed. Apple just has the brand power.

The iPhone Fold form factor actually makes a lot of sense. You get a compact ~5.5” outer display (basically like an iPhone mini) and when unfolded it becomes a ~7.8” screen close to an iPad mini. That’s great for content and multitasking. I think one of the reasons why Apple chose this approach is because they don’t want it to just be a Pro Max that unfolds. They’re trying to create a completely new category instead of mimicking a slab phone.

@theonecid It's just Google using the right time to promote their flagship colour line Moonstone, these kids are just so ignorant.

@_TheJasonC Moonstone is their flagship colour line, Google using the perfect time and opportunity for marketing, learn how to read and understand the context, nothing to do with mocking Apple. Stop.

Google, You're better than this... Creating an AI image mocking Apple proves nothing. It damages the Pixel brand, Stop making yourself a Footnote

Why is Google trying to mock Apple here? 😭 The iPhone actually went into the space while Google is just using AI slop to make fake images…

Day 3 of switching to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (as an iPhone user) ok y’all, it’s time. i can’t do this anymore. i’m switching back to my iPhone 😭 don’t get me wrong- the S24 Ultra is a great phone, and i totally get why so many people love samsung. that being said, although there are a lot of things i like about this phone, my iPhone 17 Pro has better performance, a MUCH better camera, and i honestly miss iOS and the Apple Ecosystem and Live Activities SO MUCH 😭 ALSO, android apps just aren’t as nice to use as iPhone apps- they feel a lot less polished because they have fewer in-app animations and haptics and stuff 🫠 the benefits of a Samsung phone- like the S-pen and Good Lock- just aren’t important enough to me personally for me to keep using it over my iPhone ngl, but i totally get why people pick Samsungs over iPhones- it’s INSANE how much you can tweak and mess around with lol this was a really fun experiment, but until Google focuses on improving app quality on Android i really don’t think i could ever switch to using an Android as my main phone lol i’m gonna keep the S24 Ultra as a secondary phone, so i can still have the Android experience and post about it, but my eSim will be going back in the iPhone :p my iPhone has all the customisation features i could want, so again- i personally don’t really find things like Good Lock worth giving up app quality and the Apple ecosystem and stuff for 😭 ANYWAY- thank you all for reading! i’m going to make a long-form video soon talking about the experience in more detail, so keep an eye out for when i post that! lmk if you have any questions or anything and i’ll answer them asw✌️

"To blur, or not to blur, that is the question." One thing I love about Material 3 Expressive is its use of blur. We subtly blurred the notification shade background to provide a sense of depth so you can stay aware of the apps you're using in the background. Some have noticed that, in the Android 17 Beta, we brought these blur effects to more parts of the UI (eg. widget picker). How do y'all feel about this UI blur? Do you prefer it to be more opaque/transparent or is it just right as is?
