📸 Are there any camera experts here? I’m looking to buy a camera primarily to capture landscapes and portraits, with good resolution for close-up and distant subjects. What camera and lenses would you recommend for this type of photography?

@rubyto hybrid = mirrorless reflex = dslr reflex cameras have been around forever and have tons and tons of lenses available. however, most companies have moved to hybrid cameras primarily and that’s where most of the innovation is happening

@rubyto lenses: the usual guideline is 35mm-equivalent for landscape and 75mm-equivalent for portraits, but you can use anything as long as you frame things well. you can also use something close to 50mm for a best-of-both-worlds situation.

@rubyto camera: any modern mirrorless camera will probably work for you. don’t get caught up in specs and megapixel counts; the key is having something that reduces the friction of shooting as much as possible

@lekevicius @shadowxyz including shadow logs in the subscriptions in the eth_subscribe call wasn't feasible without forking reth. you can make a separate RPC method by extending the ExEx and custom RPC to emit the shadow events in real-time, and ensuring websockets are enabled in the RPC's build config
