🚨Protest Update 🚨 Following discussions held over the weekend and after gaining feedback from supporters, we have decided not to proceed with our in-stadium demonstration at tomorrow’s match against Tottenham. We wish to be very clear this is in no way a statement of intent to cease and desist with our efforts to restore the values and identity that made this club great. We are always trying to gauge the mood among supporters and demonstrate our frustrations when the time feels right, and on reflection, we wish to take a step back and review our position over the summer before taking further action. While we have huge reservations about how much 'self reflection' has happened at the club when not one sporting director seems to have been held accountable for the failings of the past four seasons, we understand that as supporters, there will always be a glimmer of hope following a promising managerial hire like Xabi Alonso. We feel supporters’ protest marches may have been influential in pushing the club to replace Liam Rosenior with someone more worthy of the role. However, we know Chelsea supporters are tired of this season and the loss of what a great feeling it should be following our club, and a demonstration at this point would not feel like the right timing. It’s not just the protest marches that have made a difference and we are not trying to claim victory there. Wider supporter scrutiny has also played its role, with greater focus on financials and increased media attention. It will take considerably more than one appropriate managerial hire for us to believe Blueco are suitable custodians of our club and huge question marks remain over their intentions and capability in a number of areas, including ticket prices, a potential new stadium, record financial losses, front-of-shirt sponsorship and respecting the club’s identity. We’ll be keeping a close eye on developments across the summer. We’ll also be looking at how best we approach next season as we look to formalise the NotAProjectCFC group. As a fanbase, we weren’t ready or prepared for an ownership group of this nature and with question marks over some of those who currently hold positions to represent the fans, we believe a group who can directly hold the club to account with total independence is required. As such, NotAProjectCFC will be in touch in due course to gauge supporter views on further action. For now, we wish everyone a happy and restful summer. UTC!

🚨 Emegha: “BlueCo told me I could stay one more year, get to Europe and play in it, I played a big role in it as well, I understand the criticism from Strasbourg fans but they also must understand I’m a footballer, I want to go as high as I can and Strasbourg is not my end destination, Chelsea is a good next step for me” (Ligue1 plus on TikTok)

@_FucknBossChick @melaninglamour You expecting a man to step in and handle a woman versus woman conflict is very telling. You not acknowledging the fact that he did that and attempted to politely tell her he’s with his girlfriend not a home girl is very telling as well.

@TheScore01 Critical thinking skills of a donkey. He notified the club he was speaking to City. This was also AFTER the club already admitted they were speaking with other Managers while he was still on the job. He wanted basic things like a CB but was given Garnacho and others. End of.

He talked to City twice behind the players, clubs and fans back, in breach of contract. Because he had a strop he didn't get one player he asked for. Then he walked out when it got tough. Respect for what he did here, but I have no love for Enzo Maresca. To me he used us to get experience for the job he always wanted, City. Xabi Alonso is a better coach as well.

Looks like Enzo Maresca will be rocking up to The Bridge next season with City. A new rivalry is born.

@A_kinola02 @tahyvr How is Iraola able to continue his job if he resigned? As how now?? SDs received a pay rise while a coach that met the club’s targets plus winning two trophies last season did not get a pay rise. Same coach asked for back up from the club in the transfer window got none.

Now that they’ve finally appointed the manager Chelsea fans wanted, suddenly the PR machine has started shifting all the blame onto Maresca It’s all tactical and calculated. A way for the ownership to remove attention from the real mistakes THEY created through poor recruitment, bad structure and years of chaos behind the scenes. The same problems fans complained about for years didn’t magically appear because of one manager. Guess what, our fans bought it again 🤣

Unless I am missing something, Maresca didn’t get a pay rise after securing the top four target and then winning the club World Cup which no one thought Chelsea would, but the sporting directors did. He then in the summer didn’t get backed as much as he would have liked (the whole centre back thing) and once City contacted him, he asked for more power and again a pay rise and extension to reflect what he had done at Chelsea. Once Chelsea didn’t want to give him that until the summer review then he started to engage with City more seriously about a future job. To Maresca it must have come across very much like the success of his tenure was down to the model and not his work, so why are people calling him a snake?

🚨Stop blaming BlueCo for Enzo Maresca leaving Chelsea. Cold truth: Enzo Maresca used Chelsea as a stepping stone. The moment Manchester City links surfaced and Pep succession talks heated up, he did everything in his power to make his position at Stamford Bridge untenable. He tried to outsmart the board, aired grievances publicly, clashed with the hierarchy and medical staff, and forced their hand. He didn’t get pushed — he engineered his own exit. I don’t blame BlueCo for binning him at all. The real grievance is the panic appointment that followed: handing the keys to Liam Rosenior. It was an understandable short-term call under massive pressure (continuity from the BlueCo network at Strasbourg), but it proved a catastrophic failure. Maresca manipulated the situation, the board folded, and fans were left with the wreckage. Change my mind.
