Shen Shiwei vs Victor Gao Zhikai What if the🇨🇳China–🇮🇳#India border were drawn at the Ganges? Why does China reject India's territorial claims over the illegal McMahon Line? My Youtube Channel: youtube.com/shorts/zLGLUnw… "If the Indians want to use the illegal McMahon Line as the border between China and India, why couldn't China use the 'Victor Gao Line' along the Ganges as the border between China and India?

@deep_singh20 @MapOsnit Nahi bhai, discussion continue hai. Theoretically possible bola tha maine, lekin is case mein Pentagon, Sri Lanka Navy aur reports sab confirm karte hain Dena solo thi MILAN exercise se wapas, koi support ship ya rearguard nahi. Evidence ke hisaab se hi baat karte hain.

To truly grasp the weight of the Dena’s sinking in the Indian Ocean, one must apply a different lens. I ask the Indian strategic community to imagine a parallel reality: If an Indian vessel had neutralized a Pakistani destroyer in those very waters during Operation Sindoor, would we view it as a tactical necessity or a regional crisis? The double standard deserves a closer look.

Theoretically, yes—navies sometimes operate with support vessels for RAS/UNREP, and a destroyer could theoretically receive arms transfers at sea. But here: all reports (US Pentagon, Sri Lanka Navy, Reuters, BBC) confirm IRIS Dena was sailing solo, returning from India's MILAN 2026 exercise in international waters. No support ship detected, no oil slicks or wreckage from another vessel, no crew accounts. An Iranian frigate as "rearguard" for a US CSG during active US-Iran war? Strategically implausible—opposing sides don't protect each other's carriers. No evidence supports it.

@MapOsnit Conveniently forgot to add another crucial factor, much expected. What if Iran invited pakistani navy for any naval exercise, pakistani ship as per the regulations of the exercise couldn’t carry much of its weapons’ stockpile and india declaring war on pakistan sunk the underarm+

The sinking of the IRIS Dena off Sri Lanka is a reality check, International waters are nobody's backyard. Once that ship crossed the 200-mile limit, they left India’s protection. In the "High Seas," India has zero legal power to stop a US-Iran confrontation. We might host the party (MILAN 2026), but we aren't the bouncer for the whole ocean. If it's outside our 12-mile sovereign line, it's literally none of our business. 🇮🇳

If somehow regional powers are united today and stopped this war economy US from waging war, it would have choked on its own vomit called USD. It is currently at its weakest, economically. But not after this war.

@Defencematrix1 Decades ago. Like every other regional or global power does. But then comes the naive argument of india is not an expeditionary force, morality, say no to big brother in south asia, blah blah blah.

@deep_singh20 Did I said they are wrong or right? I am talking about India's interest. They are doing right in their capacity, so is Israel looking after their interest. But it's Hurting India. So there is no side we can pick.

Frankly Iran is hurting India's interest more than U.S. shooting down Iranian vessels near Sri Lankan EEZ. Blocking of strait of Hormuz, Iranian proxies targeting Cargo vessels and Iran targeting Gulf counties which are providing us energy. But India is not saying anything against Iran. Now people want India to condemn U.S. because they took down their enemy outside Indian Navy's Jurisdiction as they were in war! Why should we take any side, when both are hurting our Interest?

@Defencematrix1 Your original argument was to stop people from talking about provocative actions india should have taken at the given situation. It’s not about picking side it’s about projecting your side. Which you would have understood if india has asserted its dominance in its neighbourhood++

Why drag India? Can we control every ship in international waters? What happened is unfortunate, but saying India should respond, why should we? Their country is at war, so are their warships. Our responsibility is our territorial waters and EEZ. The ship was shot down in Sri Lankan EEZ, it's not legally in our jurisdiction to police that area. Infact we can't even stop chinese spy ships which used to dock at Sri Lankan ports, Legally we can't. So stop dragging the Indian Navy, we don't have a legal say, and that's why we are not responding.

Parallels between post-Khomenei Iran and post-Saddam Iraq are foolish. Iraq had no core only rival nations, whereas in Iran a large majority incl non-Persians is devoted to the Iranic culture renewed twice a year by the Zoroastrian equinox festivals + the Shah Nameh & Hafez
