However, the quality of interpretation and making an accurate report might be an issue. I might choose going to Costa Rica over India for medical tourism for several reasons. However, it does again show how "fucked" our healthcare is in Canada and even before the mass immigration of recent years it was and now its abysmal.

Healthcare reality: My friend is visiting India & needed MRI. It was available on a walk in basis. Report given in 3 hours. Cost Rupees 7,700 (about C$110). Another patient (local) was on some government assistance program & paid Rupees 2,200 (C$32). No wait time, unlike 🇨🇦
