Well i think its actually predatory pricing that has helped them garner market share and certainly not distribution. Offering a 200ml bottle at Rs 10/- which competition is selling at Rs 20/- or more. I In fact, they lag in distribution; most of the time it is not available at a store or even quick commerce apps.

Reliance bought dead brand ‘Campa Cola’ for just ₹22 Cr in 2022.
And in 3 years they created ₹4,700 Crore business.
How?
Reliance never thought to beat Coca Cola or Pepsi.
They used Reliance’s distribution machine.
• 18,000 Reliance Stores
• JIO Mart Network
• Kirana Stores
• Instant National Presence
• Affordable Pricing (₹10)
• Made Amitabh Bachchan as their face
Revenue:
FY24 → ₹400 Cr
FY25 → ₹1,300 Cr
FY26 → ₹4,700 Cr
Meanwhile Coca-Cola + Pepsi market share dropped from ~92% → 83%.
Lesson:
In India, product doesn’t matters.
Distribution wins.

@atul1602 Spot on! Endowment plans offer the highest commission for the agent so are very popular.
English

Unpopular opinion that most Advisors won't say 👇
LIC endowment policies have
made more Indians poor than any stock market crash.
Here's why 👇
₹50,000/year endowment for 20 years.
Total paid - ₹10L.
Maturity value - ₹16-17L.
Life cover - inadequate.
Same ₹50,000/year split 👇
Term insurance - ₹10,000/year
SIP - ₹40,000/year
20 year SIP corpus - ₹35L+
Life cover - ₹1Cr
Same money.
3x corpus.
10x better cover.
Yet endowment policies are still sold by millions.
Did you or your family buy an endowment plan?

In my very first video of my financial markets journey
I have tried to decode the backbone behind our day-to-day e-commerce and quick-commerce deliveries in the video below.
In this video, I look at three listed logistics companies in India: Shadowfax Technologies, Delhivery and Blue Dart.
Most of us have heard of Delhivery and Blue Dart, or have at least seen their names on parcels and delivery vehicles. But Shadowfax is also one of the fastest-growing companies in this space and remains relatively less visible compared to the other two.
I discuss all three companies in the video — how their business models are set up, what makes each of them different, how they performed in Q4 FY26, and the key takeaways from their latest investor concalls.

@BaluGorade Yeah but then Small cap Index would have given similar returns.

He is Samir Rachh.
> Joined Nippon India AMC in 2007.
> Managing Nippon India Small Cap Fund since 2017.
> Runs one of India's largest small cap funds with ₹72,000 crore AUM.
> Holds 249 stocks, with industrials as the largest sector allocation, followed by financials.
> Portfolio turnover is just 17%, with portfolio valuation around 28x P/E.
> Performance:
> 3 years - 20% CAGR
> 5 years - 22% CAGR
> 7 years- 24% CAGR
> 1% exit load if redeemed within 1 year
> His philosophy - Don't time small caps. Stay invested systematically for the long term.
> A diversified small cap strategy, not a concentrated high conviction bet.
Would you invest in a ₹72,000 crore small cap fund?

@JakeraChoudhury Hi Jakera, Where do you get this from? Moneycontrol to nahin show kar raha.

@NDTVProfitIndia The spiciest thing in this entire scam is that wife and ex wife worked together in harmony in a team. All males should learn something from Hemant Gupta

@JugalMalkani @REDBOXINDIA Hi Jugal, May be you're right! But are you aligned with Jefferies view that India's SIP book should not have increased. Since that gave FII an exit.
Which in way means, Indians should not invest in their own capital market.
English

@deepakpruthy @REDBOXINDIA When you have clients trading billions of dollars with you, it’s impossible to compound more advisory money than brokerage and what Jefferies makes in a month in advisory is what Angel one might make in a year. It’s ethically wrong to have market biases.
English

@biju30madhavan @REDBOXINDIA Hi Biju, So its about Modi Government! Now i get it, its a political issue and not economic! But just want to know, do you feel Indian retail SIPs should not go up as suggested by Jefferies so that FIIs don't get an exit and remain trapped.
English

That everyone knows Market participants will go wherever there is value coz those people don't hav political or religious inclination but inclination towards wealth...As of now India doesn't provide value coz of poor economic policies. Wish we will fix it before more of the domestic money is drawn away
English

Hi Yuga, Its all about reducing current a/c deficit-
- Either you export more. A depreciating rupee help in this but you can't expect quick results.
- Or you import less - Falling Oil price will help you achieve this.
- Or bring in Foreign money through investment in bonds, equities or FDIs.
- Increase in NRI remittances.
English

@deepakpruthy @biju30madhavan @REDBOXINDIA Indian rupees was already 90+ up from 84 when oil price started increasing.... Also FII's are not coming back. There's no manufacturing uptick, make in India is a failure and with AI and automation, services will die a brutal death.
English

@REDBOXINDIA AI learns from existing knowledge sources and don't think it can create sources. ASAIK, humans haven't decoded language (if any) of animals. Not sure on how authentic it is.
English

@DolakpurKi Right now, the most trending would be 10 units of Melody
