Imagine how we ran a whole ass meme that performed significantly better than the actual $APT token in terms of community, the rewarding, and the building of a culture around GUI. This was despite none from Aptos Foundation ever wanting to show support because "we airdropped too much to the community," and that was airdropped to loyal users who stayed with the chain for over a year. There was no partiality, just loyalty, and activity was rewarded. Every time we asked for any kinda support, we were thrown in the face a new memecoin they were supporting, and that was fully controlled by the team with no airdrop or a few dollars worth to a few dozen talkers. All these memes went down to zero within a month. GUI still tried to do whatever could be done best. At one point, we discussed whether Aptos even deserves us. The team members of Aptos Labs, some of whom were so open about supporting the culture and the community token, but for the Foundation, the meme didn't exist. Funny as hell, we were introduced to one of the grants team members as "an OG team from Solana" when we ourselves didn't know what our link with Solana was. That's the due diligence they always did for anyone legit seeking support. But hey, promise a hundred thousand wallet installs and new accounts for as cheap as you can, there you go - grant approved, ecosystem spotlight, major leadership talking about its numbers, the best project on Aptos, blah blah. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V all over again, each month. We've been in touch with another ecosystem team where GUI might find its home, and trust me, when you talk to the team, you realize how the hierarchical bullshit doesn't exist, the corporate ladders you had to climb here to try and find out who to talk to on Aptos doesn't exist here, you just talk about what you want to do, and you get the support for that - the connects, the personal thoughts on every little detail. GUI's not done, and it won't be done, thanks to other ecos recognizing this and extending their hand to support. Stop the guesswork, we'll announce when we have the concrete stuff to announce, but I'll tell you, there are ecosystems with real people vibing with each other, maintaining the culture regardless of the price action, unlike on Aptos, where we kept asking for it but never got a response. Only truth to accept: there is no reversal for this, and the ego of people on the top will not let them even come back with something positively, except for the general "he's fudding, how's he in any of the groups we are in, kick him out" so they can sleep peacefully knowing their echo chamber doesn't have anyone shouting. The Collective email that most got today says: As we refine the program, we’re focusing on members with consistent recent engagement and will be rotating you out for now. The redefining should actually be: Shut down the Collective. It serves no real purpose, with people being used as raiders and shillers on Aptos and team members' account posts. From being a bunch of smart people sharing their thoughts and ideas to a group of raiders that exist there because they actively did this job, and never talked negatively, i.e., the truth on the timeline. But as I said above, I don't see any reversal, and I only feel bad for the believers.
