@MichaelLohner @stevekwasny Totally agree! We eloped but threw a big party after, so didn’t register. We mainly got cash & a few small thoughtful gifts, which was great since we’d already lived together for years - more ‘stuff’ wasn’t needed. Your people will know what to do!

@stevekwasny The Bay still exists? Pro tip. The thousands of dollars people generously gifted to us from our registry and the amount of stuff, 15 years later we’ve never once used is alarming. If we had to do again, multiple sets of every day stuff and skip the china.

Blown away at how terrible the experience is trying to set up a wedding registry at @hudsonsbay. It involved registering two accounts for two different websites and still neither would let me add anything from the bay. Even went into the store for help and they couldn’t.

The live music industry is so toxic that even DIY promoters will publicly shame a band if they ask for proper accommodation. Why be a promoter if you hate bands this much? The expectation that touring musicians should sleep on somebody’s floor needs to become a thing of the past
