The Jaipur FIRE retreat went well. Much better than what I expected for sure. Broad learnings: 1) How much is enough? Wide variety of FI corpuses - 3 cr to 25 Cr+. Wide variety of asset allocations post FIRE - 100% debt to 90% equity. 2) How to FIRE? Wide variety of paths which lead to FIRE - foreign stint, Tech ESOPs, high double income family, business that worked, big tax-free bonuses, etc. 3) What to do post FIRE? Everyone has figured out some way to spend time doing things they like - running marathons around the globe, 20+ hours in the gym a week, Golf, twitter bakchodi, school for the underprivileged. Hopefully will do a series of articles / videos in the coming weeks.
