The best thing that happened was the translation of the Koran from Arabic to other languages. Even with that they still change goalposts and say things were lost in translation. All I know is peopl3 will get fed up on3 day and there will be no going back
Big Sister General@SheIsBukki
Frankly speaking, Islam is not an ideology any good person should practise. During the Chibok girls era when Boko haram was still relatively new, I got tired of people saying that Boko haram terrorists were not Muslims so I downloaded the Quran and read it.
English

@begoodtourselfo But God revealed those texts and even if you don't apply them today (Christians used these texts historically).
Plus Jesus in his second coming would be brutal
English

@deezguy49 That's very wrong sir. The places u see bloodshed in Bible is old testament where Moses law was enforced
English

@Alhausawiy @Necessary_Cho He wasn't from the khawarij, you can disagree with him but calling him a khariji is a stretch. Also dont support the Hausa Kings because you are Hausa, if they mixed Islam with Bori, then they're not Muslims even if they're Hausa. Anyone who mixes Islam with paganism isn't Muslim
English

@Necessary_Cho Anyway, Abubakar Shekau thought he was the good Muslim and others infidels, the Khawarij saw Ali (R.A) as an apostate and killed him claiming jihad, the twelver Shiites see Abubakar as an apostate to this day. Danfodiyo made Takfir on Hausa rulers but we see him as a Khawarij.
English

Those who ruled before the Usmanu Danfodiyo jihad were largely from the Hausa ethnic groups across Arewa. Some were Muslims, but many still practised traditional beliefs alongside Islam.
Their reigns were often criticised for feudal oppression & social vices, including land grabbing, extortion, adultery, sorcery & shirk. The jihad was aimed at reforming society, removing such rulers, and consolidating the implementation of Sharia in the land.
Because many of those who embraced the jihad were Fulanis, political authority eventually shifted largely to them, partly as a reward for their loyalty & role in the movement.
Some argue that bcoz Danfodiyo himself was Fulani, the jihad was more political than religious. I still disagree with that argument, though I admit I may be biased.

What does the word 'haɓe' stand for? Pls

@FtherHjoSpiritu @GunesIlyas @Rexleonum_NWA @korrathetaymi He saw Gabriel in his true form but that verse was talking about his time in Heaven
English

@deezguy49 @GunesIlyas @Rexleonum_NWA @korrathetaymi Many scholars, and reports attributed to Aisha and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, understood this as Muhammad seeing Gabriel in his true form.
Earlier verses in the chapter mention “one mighty in power,” which many commentators identify as Gabriel.
English

@FtherHjoSpiritu @GunesIlyas @Rexleonum_NWA @korrathetaymi I don't mean it as an insult, you ask for evidence based on our paradigm, when given you strawman and twist. How can that be good faith?
English

@deezguy49 @GunesIlyas @Rexleonum_NWA @korrathetaymi On another note, see the difference between a Christian and a Muslim. I have been nothing but respectful to you, while you continuously resort to insults. It’s ok, it doesn’t bother me, I expect this type of approach when people are confronted with truth.
English

@deezguy49 @GunesIlyas @Rexleonum_NWA @korrathetaymi Sahih Muslim — Hadith 2143
“The most disgraceful (or most hated) name in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who calls himself ‘King of Kings,’ for there is no king except Allah.”
Guess who is called King of Kings in the bible?
English

@Omobiliki So religious Muslims are terrorists? Muslims who follow the adherence of their religion are backwards and potential terrorists?
English

@deezguy49 Never heard about it but to me Reformation doesn't solve the issue at large under particular circumstances it can be used to weaponise things like poverty and further worsen Extremism the only reason we don't have something similar in sw because most Muslims here are secular
English

Nothing more ironic than looking at Muslims living Secular Societies say the version of Shari'a law being practiced in very Religious Muslim societies for centuries is wrong.

@aniky_bee There is no Sharī'ah in Northern Nigeria.
English

@begoodtourselfo I didn't say they read the Bible, they don't read any books. However, what they do is more in agreement with the Bible than the Quran
English

@deezguy49 So they read Bible to commit evil! When u hear ursef saying this do u still think you're psychologically ok?
English

@fearplz4 @GodstimeAtas Nothing in the article provides the evidence that 18million blacks were enslaved, it's just a claim with no evidence whatsoever. He mentioned the Zanzibar slavery, that started in the 19th century, not 1400years
He claims the transsaharan trade started with Arabs, this is a lie
English

@deezguy49 Islam is for destruction.. the Quran is a blood book. They read whatever evil they do inside quran
English

@_chiceeeyyy So if it's for islam, why are Muslims kidnapped? Or you can't track?
English

@deezguy49 They’re being sold into slavery and recruited into terrorism
What’s not clicking???
English

@KarounwiAdini @AladeAyeniromo They eventually get it except he's mentally enslaved and lacks self awareness. I've seen the most liberal Muslims even push back, these nationalists no get sense at all. How can you use your own hand to destroy your goal
English

@AladeAyeniromo It takes time for some of us to realise their games. But we eventually get it. These are the same people you will be using "mutual tolerance and openness" to relate with and they will be nursing malevolent thoughts against you.

Ani, this is the reason why you lots must be opposed seh.
Oyo Muslims didn't bring terrorists when Bola Ige was Governor in 1979.
Oyo Muslims didn't bring terorrists when Victor Omololu Olunloyo was Governor in 1983.
Oyo Muslims didn't bring terrorists when Kolapo Ishola was Governor in 1992.
Oyo's first Muslim Governor was LAM ADESINA in 1999.
For a state created in 1976!
These same Muslims left Bayo Adelabu to vote for Seyi Makinde in 2019.
It is in 2027 that they will then bring in terrorists just because they want to govern Oyo.
Make it make sense.
From Ibadan, Oyo town, Ogbomosho itself, Saki, Iseyin, peep the Muslim population in these towns and cities and tell me why Muslim candidates would not naturally emerge.
This subtle blackmail of Muslims, to force them to withdraw from politics, will not stand.
And it is very very common with "Yoruba Ronu" activists like this whose MO is to throw around one worthless "Yoruba interest" that essentially means denying Muslims right to participate in elections.
If this is how you lot want to muddle up a clear security issue that requires state and FG collaboration by playing useless politics with it, go ahead.
We will continue to expose your agenda.
AWÓJÒRÉ@seekthedreamer
@hon_ags Do not back down @seyimakinde , oyo Islam clerics has brought Islam terrorist to our land , they want a Muslim governor a must, Islam is traitor to oyo , it will never happen, yoruba Muslims will be the fall of our land , it has happened in the past , its occurring again

@weirdlyseen @click_idss @aboo_aamir Yes oloriburuku omo
Was Abobaku our ancestors did good? Answer na
English

@weirdlyseen @click_idss @aboo_aamir Yes he's right and you're wrong, do you have an argument against it except calling upon your ancestors? What does your way of life offer me? Nothing of worth, but if na to insult, we go see Una for there
English

@weirdlyseen @click_idss @aboo_aamir Some of our ancestors used to do Abobaku, was it right?
Nobody tells us to lick stone olodo aborisa
English

@deezguy49 @click_idss @aboo_aamir you see as quick you’re to condemn what our ancestors are doing, but won’t question why you’re told to lick stone ?
English

@weirdlyseen @click_idss @aboo_aamir Just because your ancestors were doing something doesn't make it right, there's an objective truth and it can exist outside your ancestors beliefs.
Olodo ni e😸
English

@deezguy49 @click_idss @aboo_aamir a proud aborisa.. that was what my ancestors were doing and i will pass it along to generations as well
English

@deezguy49 @click_idss @aboo_aamir See as you guys are critically analyzing each other religion, what happens to the brain when criticizing yours?
