vertical AI agents are going to be a BIG opportunity in 2026 and here’s why (save + read this 2x): the market is flooded with horizontal tools trying to do everything. bloated. generic. and most are TERRIBLE. the real money is in specialized agentic systems that solve one bottleneck in one industry. here are some examples: • an agent that handles client intake for personal injury firms. qualifies leads, books consults, sends follow-ups. replaces 15 hours/week of admin work. • an agent that processes RFQs for construction companies. reads specs, pulls pricing, generates quotes. cuts response time from 2 days to 2 hours. • an agent that manages patient scheduling for dental practices. handles cancellations, fills gaps, sends reminders. no more front desk phone tag. each system sells for $10K+. deploys in weeks. and copies across every similar business in the vertical. why vertical wins: • easier sale. “built for law firms” beats “built for everyone.” • higher prices. specialists charge more. always have. • less competition. everyone builds generic. nobody goes deep on HVAC or assisted living. • faster delivery. build once, deploy dozens of times. 80% code reuse. • compounding expertise. you learn the edge cases. you fix problems before clients notice. horizontal AI is commoditized. vertical is wide open. TLDR: pick an industry. find the bottleneck. build the agent. own that niche. RT + comment “ALPHA” and I’ll send a playbook on selling AI to businesses (must follow so I can DM)

There are hundreds of victim impact statements waiting to be read, and six victims want to speak in court. But no, Do Kwon's team doesn't want them to be heard and wants to rush along the sentencing so that he doesn't look even worse to the judge. Disgusting, but expected.
Inner City Press@innercitypress

Do Kwon: A member of my legal team read some of them to me Judge: They are impactful to me. Mr. Patton, adjourn? Do Kwon's Patton: We would like to proceed. Judge: AUSA Mortazavi has told me about notice, including to the 16,500 who had sought money

Meeting-scheduling platforms (Calendly, Google Calendar, etc.) should start offering 25-minute slots instead of 30, 55 instead of 60, and so on. The final few minutes of most meetings rarely add meaningful value, and built-in time limits from these tools make it easier to wrap up calls naturally. That extra 5-minute buffer between back-to-back meetings can make a significant difference in both productivity and overall quality of life.

For example, if there are 500 divorces and 1,000 marriages in a given year in a given area, the ratio would be one divorce for every two marriages, e.g. a ratio of 0.50 (50%). Witnessed something incredible at the Amsterdam train station yesterday Fat and loud American tourist was trying to buy a water bottle for €4.50 Threw a €5 bill on the counter and started walking away ""Keep the change man" said in a typical annoying Californian accent "We don't do tips here. This isn't America" cashier responded The American tried to leave again but luckily security blocked the exit "You didn't get your receipt for tax purposes" "What?" Store manager appeared with a form "Did you attempt to give our cashier extra money?" "That's unreported income. He has to declare it now. Pay social contributions. It becomes €0.24 after tax" The American was baffled "Bro but in the US—" "In the US, workers beg for tips because they're underpaid. Here, we pay living wages" manager swiftly interrupted him They made him take his €0.50 back and quickly filed an incident report for "attempted tax circumvention" This is what a properly functioning society looks like

@badcryptobitch @stonecoldpat0 I don’t think there were historically any blockers to women entering crypto. It was largely anon or sudoanon in its beginnings. Can’t get a more level playing field.
