@SewrattanLaw I think this works for Duncan (a mitigating factor that changes what is fit) but not Summers (a credit that is subtracted from what is fit). But IMO your answer is right because Fice is wrong.

@lawandchocolate I'll take "things that didn't happen" for 200 Alex. Why make something so silly up 😂🤡. If the judge doesn't stay in the courtroom, who is the one telling you you aren't allowed to stay during the break?

There are few things more offensive than crowns being allowed to remain in the courtroom during breaks and defence lawyers getting kicked out.

@CTVToronto @GypsySpirit1946 Article is misleading. Licensed Paralegals cannot represent clients charged with offences where the sentence is up to 2 years. @LawSocietyLSO many paralegal firms mislead & have lawyers working for them. If you cannot afford a lawyer there is legal aid.

If I punch you in the face at 6 a.m. and we hang out at a bar at 6 p.m.: ✅I can suggest to a judge that I didn't punch you and that's why we hung out the same day; ❌but if I sexually assaulted you, that's a stereotype
