@GovBobFerguson How dare you use this day meant to celebrate girls and women’s sports when I have been asking you for a meeting for almost a year now. I have wanted to discuss my feelings as a 16 year old girl, who will not accept having boys play in my sports, and be present in my bathrooms and locker rooms. At this point, I have no other option than to believe that the governor of Washington state is gaslighting, and making a mockery out young girls such as myself, who are standing up to protect ourselves, fairness in sports, and our safety in private spaces. I wish your daughter all the best in her softball career. However, I feel very sorry for her that she doesn’t know what it feels like to have a dad that would protect her if what happened to me, happened to her. Seeing this post only makes me believe that what I’ve said by calling you gutless is more true today than ever. By the way… I still invite you to come sit with me face to face. Either way, you have not fooled the American people, or the voters of Washington state.
