New RWA x MegaETH 2-in-1: @brix_money Brix raised $5.5m to bring emerging market yield into DeFi It's current product offering: 1. iTRY, a Turkish Lira stablecoin backed by money market funds 2. wiTRY, the yield-bearing version of iTRY Although I find the angle interesting and it fits into a few narratives, I will not be touching Brix for now as I have absolutely zero appetite for Lira exposure haha However, it will be interesting to see how this develops and what other emerging assets Brix onboards Check it out with the link below

I'm losing money on @megaeth right now, like most of you. Token near ATL. Stakers on Flux are underwater. Farming feels forced and frustrating with low point emissions. Not saying MegaETH is failing. But Terminal is hurting the user experience imo. Three system-level issues: 1. The points system is too opaque by design. "Boost 3 apps per week" forces focus without telling you what's worth focusing on. Users are guessing which apps will actually pay out. So they spread risk into random casino games and lose $20 in minutes instead of compounding into the apps that matter. I like Blast's design better (hello there). It publicly announced which tier each protocol was on (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Bad protocols got zeroed out iirc. Users knew exactly where to farm. The result was concentrated liquidity in apps that deserved it. I think MegaETH already has implicit tiers internally. Just make them public. 2. The Terminal treats all apps as equal. But they aren't. A few apps on Terminal are genuinely good, e.g. @hitdotone @OffshoreOnMega @Showdown_TCG @TopStrikeIO But most dilute the experience. Users try a cheap game 3 times, lose $50, log off, and tell their friends MegaETH is mid. MegaETH doesn't need 100 apps. It needs 5 great DeFi apps and 5 great game apps to kickstart the first wave. I think MegaETH knows which protocols they should back. Just push them hard explicitly, because the high quality ones deserve better. 3. DeFi has no anchor product. Most thought @monad was dead, but I've actually been farming vaults there for 6 months. There are decent opportunities with good yield. MegaETH needs flagship vaults. Stable yield plus Terminal points would pull in real and sticky TVL. They also need a new leading perp that can showcase their TPS. GMX and Gains ain't it. Tier the apps. Curate the experience. Ship the yield product. Land the perp DEX. I'm still farming. Just want the system to match its potential.

I chose this reply format @bread_ - painting directly on the @megaeth Terminal, hope it’s convenient. TLDR 1) Most mega apps are either gambling or whale-only. 2) Build a proper ref system like Blast and a transparent points system - degens will do the rest themselves. In my original post I wrote about 10-15-20 apps where users will lose money. Obviously I was rounding, but even in the image the point is clear: the red ones are basically ponzi/gambling/futures/etc. Apps, where I just can’t tell people: "HEY GO USE THIS, YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A GOOD CHANCE TO WIN/MAKE MONEY!" You can argue with this and some people may disagree with my circles. Some of them STILL build decks in @fantasy_top_ LOL. Blast was loud. I’m deprived of the ability to write loudly and beautifully about @megaeth because I simply DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHERE I’M SUPPOSED TO DIRECT PEOPLE HERE. During Blast, my entire Telegram was full of posts about Blast, strategies, ideas, discussions. Everyone cared. You know how many posts about MegaETH I saw in my info bubbles after TGE? Zero. Okay, maybe a couple overview posts like "Terminal launched but there’s nothing to do, full skip." Take the good parts from Blast. They genuinely had a great referral system and the whole web3 world was screaming about them. Their transparency made hundreds and thousands of people spend time figuring out how to maximize their points. You’re afraid of farmers? I get it.
